loois motor have the smaller card type for sales (2010 model and up) cost around $130 includes labour.

You will only get the spare key, if you full cash your bike.

Hi Guys, Just to share. I guess it has been shared already but just sharing again. USA and Malaysia has annouced recall for 2008-2012 GTR 1400. Nothing from Evershine yet. I went to Kawasaki Motormatic Johor last week for servicing and the agent told me that Malaysia Kawasaki have started replacing the unsafe part. Please share with other GTR owners.

Dunno how many of e owners here having e same prob as mine : Sometimes when starting e bike, e rear brake light auto engaged.. Press e front lever, nothing happen but when press e rear lever, e brake light disengaged n back to normal..

I think it is cos your brake switch is stuck so even if u have depressed your brake pedal and released it after that, the brake switch is stuck in the ON position, causing the brake light to lit up.

Normally I will just spray some WD 40 on the brake pedal shaft cos the shaft might also be sticky and causes prevents the brake pedal from fully returning to it's position.

I email the notice to onemotoring (can't find LTA email enquires) and ministry of transport. Lets see what is their reply. Called Nevershine ( no email too) and "Mr Ang" is not in till afternoon.

~ If there is any... It's call FDM

~ FDM = Factory Direct Modification

~ Should there be any, leave the bike for 1 - 2 weeks for them to "CHECK"

~ Leave your Chassis Number and Contact number for them to check...

How come for a 5 mins job must leave the bike for a week? What's the difference between Euro and US model in terms of the faulty part? Are they going to wait till someone gets kill then they action? I recall back in 2010 I had the same recall and the installation of the part only took less than 10 mins.

 

Just a thought.

Do you still have the brake pad jammed issue? how was is repaired? Which year is your bike?

 

hi guys,anybro have their rear brake pad jammed with the disc.my milage is close to 50k km.
