Hi All fellow X8 riders!

I just bought a brand new X8 and been riding it since Monday. I'm convinced I've made the right choice but I've got a few doubts that I hope you experienced riders could help me out with.

1. Only 1 light is lighted (left one) instead of both at the same time. Right one is for high beam. Is this true?

2. I have difficulties starting my bike if it's been stationary for a while. I can't just press the button to start it. I need to trottle a little at the same time for my bike to start. I don't think this is acceptable for a brand new bike. Am I right?

3. My full tank lasted me approximately 300km. Is this OK?

A million thanks in advance to all those who contribute :-)

welcome to the club,

regarding yours questions:

1. True, facing the bike, left one lite up

2. i always throttle abit to start when engine is cold, my x8 only start without thottle when engine hot.

3. me using abt 31km/L, mileage will depend how you ride, speed, type of fuel used etc

remember the side stand will auto fold up when u straighten the bike so be careful. do your run in too. enjoy your x9.

mine x8 also will not start the first time i press the ignition. its like that one . after a while i learn that if you pull the throttle a little plus the ignition it should start . but when the engine is warm there is no such problem.

Technically cold or warm, you should not need to throttle it. My x9 only requires such action recently, after more than 1 and a half years

Could it be the rider don't ride as often as us and the batt

charge is slighly on the low side?

So far, all my bike display the same symptoms, Unless

I have travel long distance on that day (45km per trip?)

or the batt is freshly charged up.
