if say i don pay how much will i get back...?

i mean if say it got tow..

u have any idea on teh calculation...???

Most likely they sell off ur bike or charge u interest till u cont pay. If they sell off and at a lower prce than ur loan they will still ask u to pay the difference

think they can sue you lor.....

Anyway if i am not wrong, if they tow back, they will wait for you to pay the installments and also surcharge with interest will be impose....

Beside that, don't think you can get a cent back as they can't sell the bike since you are the owner.

Also even if they can sell it, if they sell off at 4-5k you will still have to settle the difference..... not worth it....

Try to quickly settle all the installments lor.... if got bonus or strike 4d or toto, clear off the remaining, get your logcard back and just don't have any more dealings with them lor......:cheeky:

Suing me is not possible,

but i would agree to the view point that i may not get back a single cent.. well thats the way it goes...

I am just curious about the calculation counterparts, and thought perhaps this might be good info for fellow bikers..

Well don't worry lar, for those who were shock to see my msg.. i am not selling lar....

Why got so siao ... just buy then sell...

hor right a not guyori lorenzo..

Hi Marcusdeming,

As I have said during my phone conversation with you before you bought your bike, you cannot depend on them anything and you have to depend on yourself.

So if you are looking for them to provide fantastic service to you. That's when the cats start chasing the dogs. I look at them only as a middleman, period.

That's why when I bought my bike, I took eveything that I could take at that moment and left nothing to pick up later unless its black & white on the agreement.

Even for service, I do not go to them, I just pick up the EO and go to Piaggio.

As to the not paying installments part. It would be wise not to lapse unless you do really have a serious issue. They do have the option of suing you for "damages" if they can compound the amount to 10k meaning they will add interest charges, service, transfer, their entire legal costs and all sort of stuff and implement that as a legal case. If you are unable to settle the amount, they may choose to file a bankrupcy case on you limiting you to general privilleges for the next 3-5 years.

However, even if the amount is less than 10k and they still want to take up the case, they can also file the case under the small claims tribunial courts and force you to pay anything that is outstanding. If you ignore the summons, a warrant may be issued against you.

Just 2 cents..

97 to 98 - Yamaha TW200

98 to 99 - Kawasaki Vulcan 400

99 to 00 - Honda ST1100

01 to 05 - Engine Stall

05 to ?? - Piaggio X8 200

Thanks tbteng,

i have no intention to actually not pay or even allow the payment to lapse...

so no worries...

i am not expecting good service when buying bike, i am pretty aware of that too.

I am in fact suppose to get my spare key back in Decemeber, this is promise and in black and white (because i gave up my free helmets), call and went back a few time to collect but to no avail. Went back yesterday to collect the supposingly ready spare key, then they gave me the master key and ask me to go do it myself.

U see all this trouble could have been save if they tell me from day 1 that i can have the master key and do it myself. I wouldn't mind spending that $17 dollars, go down piaggio and do it all, rather then going thru all this hassle.

More time and money is wasted this way

btw u can collect the EO all at one go, so that u don always hav to go down.

Well, bro marcusdeming.

Is good to bring up the issue and discuss, becos sometime there are grey area which most of us unaware and might lead to unhappiness between bikeshop and consumer, and as always the consumer are in the losing end.:giddy:

This forum serve the purpose of discussion, exchange infomation and a place to know bikers of same interest.

Ofcourse the info provided must be of solid stand and if you do not have, or worried of receiving Lawyer letter, then is adviseable not to mention Names!! :D

And i believe there are some other form of letting fellow scooterist to know which shop treated us like 'turnip'.

Service 'DNA' seem like a beautiful phrase, as we can see for ourselves, take for example: sign paper without clearified condition stated, empty promises and last minute increase sur charge....so and so forth.

All above can only be resolve until both shop and customer come to a muture understanding of a fair deal, which is unlikely, cos we are all humans.

:help:

With every good wishes

Did you try negotiating with them for an extra bottle of EO or the $17 back in place of the fact that they were not able to do the key for you?

Hey Tbteng, i didnt attempt to negotiate.

cos i was fairly disappointed with his several lousy attempt to shortchange me.

Well they insist that its more to my advantage that i have got the master key.

Hi all, may i know where is the input of the cooler for coolant?

Is it the cooler water same as we use for car?

By the way, do u all feel that when the time u try to (slow)accelerate or slowing down and eventhough shut off engine....will u hear some kind of sond that "clak clak clak"? What i mean is not a very loud and serious sound, just a bit sound of that.

The input for the coolant water is at the right of the vehicle.

I also got the clak clak clak sound think its quite common.

hey bor no lar..

u got siao a not sell after getting it for less then a month..

i was merely asking only lar...

it's a fairly good bike, i would say just a bit of a pissed with the people delaying my time, time and again.

Great storage space and ease of riding, this are the things that i look for. Although i wouldn't mind if there is more power. I do have the urge to go slightly faster sometimes.

For your problem, i suggest you cut the seat, so that you can put both your feet firmly on the ground.

Enjoy the bike.
