haha my fren sold his bike to another fren of mine...

Bike was a FZ KRR150

happen juz last mth...

 

here's the stories' character

A=seller

B=buyer

 

A intends to sell off bike due to financial problem..bike left wif 168X14 installment

 

B accepted to COI for A so wen down sign paperwork....

And B paid A S$900 cash as value of bike..

so motorshop calculated everything for my fren breakdown if could rem is as such

 

1-transfer fee $100+

2-paperwork fee $100-200

3-insurance fee $610 2nd party for 25yrs wif more den 2yrs exp

4-loading of 10% of total leftover COI as interest

 

so B was talking to shop owner, den A and me was looking and talking in front of bike shop dunno wat was going on...so both of us talk finish wen in and sit...only heard a small oart of the conversation wic goes like this

 

Shop: so u intend to pay how much cash 1st??or u juz wanna lump the whole thing and pay as installment???

 

B: oh i wanna pay $1400 cash 1st..

 

Shop: ok...how long u wanna the do e installment??

 

B: eh...24mths lor

 

Shop: ok can..so aft deducting $1400 one mth u gotta pay $108 den plus interest fee every month add $10 is $118 per mth ok???

 

B: ok can no prob...

 

den shop pass B a contract which has not been filled up yet and made him sign...wen i wanted to voice out my concern...sign finish liao..dam farking unbelievable at the pace my fren sign and how e shop owner push...

A: eh u got notice how much B paying in total anot???

Me: no leh why ah??

A: last night i calculate every last penny seems like alot of cash B is paying wen unaccounted for...

A: nah...

Me:...118x24=2832+610+100+200+1400=5142...wah!!!!knn

A: ya lor i also same reaction as u lor...

moral of story.. shop owner takes chances on us when we r too eager to OWN a bike.. to eager that everything ok ok..

 

problem is many ppl dun do simple calculation... sigh.. tat's the very bad bad thing..

 

but i still believe, down payment liao shud able to take back, unless it said not refundable.. but again if they cannot get the thing i wan.. i sure can ask back the $$...

 

tok much no use, call CASE or small tribunal court to recover the money if shop dun entertain u...

Installment left= $168 x 24 months = $2352

 

Buyer pays cash $1400. So Loan = $2352-$1400 = $952

 

Buer to pay installments $118 x 24 months = $2832

Ok loh,want play..play with them..total drag 2mths after tking out bike then i gt back my IC..

So for the 2mths, didnt pay any installment..

On the day i went to collect my dad's IC,oso pay for my 2installment..Then this burger charge me for late payment..Here's the arguement

most crucial step is to bring someone who is knowledgable in calculation and breakdown of price. best if ur fren noes the bikeshop owner.

 

but still people when eager...like my fren got his r6 for 28k otr where he traded in his k4 600. he discovered later upon reaching home and made the calculation. suck thumb liao...
