just wondering which lesson was the sucker for you...

general guideline (as per CDC's syllabus)

1. Moving off & stopping

2. Basic Traffic Rules & Regulations

3. Slope & Figure 8/Crank Course

4. Plank, Slalom & E-Brake

5. Assessment & Pillion Riding

6. On-Road Traffic Rules & Regulations, Turns & Lane Changing/Overtaking

7. On-road U-Turn

8. Final Evaluation

Don't mess with old farts. Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.

Bullshit and brilliance only come with age and experience.

Balancing on a narrow plank was the most difficult task for me in 2B, followed by figure 8 n crank course. I guess U-turn shd be difficult too, however, I did not have U-turn back then in 1992!, only 5 stages, hee.

For 2A and 2, bumpy course is the most difficult for me.

People ask me, "Why ride bike?" I ask them back :"Why drive car?"

Most fall and have problem negotiating practical 3.

As for 2A... Only have problem pushing out from the shelter.

yah i know..why so?

2B also got quite a few people who will ride scramblers wat...that will give them good training...

why only 2A & 2 need to go through the bumpy course?

I believe because of the weight, size and power... Anyway, if you need to know more about it. Ask LTA or if somebody here is working for LTA.

I had the greatest diffculty with figure eight (5 times for pract 3) and plank (7 times for pract 4). Was on the verge of giving up at pract 4 but I guess it's all history now...hehe my TP is next month.

wah...7 times ah!

thats quite a lot...i took 2 sessions to clear pract 4...

glad you mastered it already...

Mine would be taking prac 1 and prac 5. Both i have attempt 5 times each. Dun know prac 1 izzit becoz the instructors want to retain me so that i would hav to pay more $$.

Prac 5 is due to no assssment. That is the most frustrating!!! Ride until swee swee liao, sometimes to kan chiong or forgetful, forget to wait for hand signal then move off liao. Only pass on the 5th attempt.

Anyway, after all the hard work and $$ spent, finally got my license in Feb

maybe because i got car license first so easier to learn bike.know all the rules liao. :)

quite amazing in my opinion..i also have my class 3 already...

the way a car & a bike operates is totally different...

but anyway..great work on spending less than $350 in getting your 2B license.

i cannot do it.

U mean now, class 3 got warm up exercise?

It is so irony!

When I took my class 3 in 1989 (private at Ubi), no warm up excercise.

When I took class 2B in 1991 at BBDC, there was stretching excercise for all bike learners.

But now I know for bike learners no more exercises.

But class 3 have??

People ask me, "Why ride bike?" I ask them back :"Why drive car?"

as for class 2A, it was lesson 1... i couldn't make the timing for the slalom pylon... :weep:

they HAVE the warm up practise de , BUT normally cl2 or cl2a can't realli have the chance to have warm up practice.. UNLESS they go super super earli. not enough bikes for everyone to have a go at the bike. not enough time not enough bikes...
