sometimes its hard to understand how they pass or fail the student.

today i see one guy doing pract 7 for the 3rd time but he super cork up.

i did it first time but im so sure im much better than him at the routes and turnings.

but it end up with a "i think u need more familiarisation of the route" for me.

the guy passed with so many mistakes during the brief.

weird way cdc manage the students

I think theres a clue here: "Need more familarisation on the route"

Is this your first time? If so, I think that guy was "given a big break" from doing the same 3 practicals on Lesson 7...

Just guessing :goodluck:

Normally for Pracs, other than L5 and L8, they are quite lenient on the 2nd time onwards. Screw up or cork up, they also pass you. But when reach to the evaluation, keep screwing up, they earn more! :cheeky: L5 + Revision, L5 + Revision, L5 + Revision.

If I pass this coming Thursday, Means I spend about $600+, less than $650. All including the license payment like PDL of $25 and QDL of $50 and stuff.

Who cares about the money part... Important is can ride safely... That's why... Defensive Riding Course is a Must! (I'm comforting myself with excuses to take the course, or else can't ride to camp.) :cheeky:

For me Lesson 1 - first time on bike

Lesson 2 - ok nothing much

Lesson 3 - Figure 8, 4 times total

Lesson 4 - the plank was ok but e-brake must have correct technique.

The rest was ok but the worst was waiting for TP result, haha!

fig 8 is actually easy if you have the right technique.

first you have to be bold... don't be afraid to fall/hit kerb/etc... you're not going that fast anyway.

secondly, eyepoint is very very impt. your bike will steer where you look. your peripheral vision will keep you on the road, your eye point will steer you where you want to go... look at least 1 bike length ahead of you, do not let your eyes follow the tip of your bike wheel, and just be bold and go! don't be afraid to go slightly faster or lean slightly lower, your bike will be more stable too if you're slightly faster.

eyepoint is also v impt for the crank and the plank... just keep looking ahead and don't look down, don't let your eyes follow the kerb.

if you see pictures of the motorgp racers, you notice that their heads are usually at an angle when they're cornering...they're looking much further ahead cos where you look, your bike will follow =)

it's all practice practice practice!

all the best!

Wah, anyway you are almost there. Don't give up.

I almost wanted to give up in lesson 3. Take 3 times already still cannot make it.

Then I did tell myself, the 4th time I take, I am going to whack in fig 8.

If buang let it be, anyway it helps a bit, haha!

Luckilly never buang...
