From my rough calculation, Im able to get 50-54/ l of milleage. Still new as I only clock 150km this far.

 

Just manage to obtain one of this and only intend to use it after warranty period only..

Just got a used sonic frm motodiam for 1.9k OTR~

But sadly must wait till end of july for my bike to be ready..

Hope u guys can share some useful tips about sonic since this is my 1st bike yahh..

 

BTW wanna ask, issit true tht da old version of sonic cannot fix bracket for box??

mmhh i think can fix the box since both version can swap the body fairing (the plastic body). u can see my bike if you want. mine is new version with box.

yes you can buy from b-plus coz last time i asked and they have fairing of new sonic. you can also ask the forumer here with nickname benjiyui. you can find him at mass order / garage sale selling cdi racing.

Any of you guys selling sonic headlight?? Looking for 2nd hand or new 1 also can..(if the price is rite...)

Anyway, do shops in j.b service sonic carbs?? or do overhauls for this bike??

Make sure that the shop mechanics familiar with Sonic, else avoid them. I can help u source for the head light as its easily available here in Bangkok. But not sure how to deal with u, if u really find it difficult to get it in Sg. What year model is your Sonic?

Ohh..Actually, i can get the SOnic Headlight here...but just trying my luck to get it 2nd hand..LAB selling @ $30 for a new set..How much is it there?? Roughly the same price?? Mine is the 2002 model..I think the first sonic model that came out..Are there tons of accessories in Bangkok??

Yea...I guess $30 is fair enough..no use comparing it with bangkok as you have to take into consideration for transportation too. Yes..there are loads of Sonic stuff here...as compare to LC...Its like 10 Sonic to 2 LC over here...

Been riding my sonic for a month and i can proudly say it's one helluva of a bike/kup:thumb:

 

~fast, nimble and much more fun than riding da YBR @ skewl hehe..

 

But my fc is 1 of da worst i think.. Roughly bout 35km/l.. Which is due to my bike's previous owner fitted a sp carb and tonged da pipe:giddy:

 

Btw wanna know wuts da best sprocket config for sonic? mine's using 14/42 teeth and i feel that's affecting my fc due to always need high rpms to reach norm road speeds... Any help?

bro 35km/l is not the worst lah. mine only 30+km/l also fitted with sp carb but my pipe is not tong leh, but use endurance header.

Actually my fc was similar as urs b4 i changed to smaller jet needles and doin a full service on da bike.

Even found out that da gasket or rubber joint for my carb and block was loose that my mech warned that it coulda detach and burst if i rode it too hard.. Was told that da gasket wasn of the right size for the mod carb.. Damn da shop tht i bought the bike from didn even change it to the proper size! Instead they just wrap the circumference of the carb outlet with black tape:gun:

Hmm.. After reading arnd da forum, i've scaled down to 2 choices, 14/39 and 13/38. Any idea whether the setup is similar or got difference? Btw boxsurat since ur sonic is likely similar with mine, may i know wut sprocket setting u using now?
