The fuel consumption depends alot on how hard you ride the bike. I know that inrsoul gets heaps better mileage than I did when I owned it. I would usually sit at about 110-120 on the eway when heading from town back to yishun/woodlands. Max's out at about 130 on the meter down hills.

=p

yeah Axxis and another friend of ours rides like they really really need to go take a dump. :p

Vibration of the engine gets most obvious around 110. 100 is a comfortable cruise speed for me (but I know Axxis finds that too slow).

Typically I get about 40-45km per litre and like he said, depends on who and how its ridden. :D

Kev> followed Fai back last night on the CTE and even I can't be bothered trying to keep up with him anymore. All that lane changing! :-s

I hate the traffic on there during peak hour. So glad I don't have to deal with it on a daily basis.

Yeah... fai's so seasoned, i lose him in just 2 minutes into the ride. :D

That's why I totally opt out of riding on CTE unless it's the late hours. I can't take peak hour traffic. Too stressful lah!

I've done some pretty hard braking... I've got a pretty narrow front tyre too. Heh.

Looking forward to changing to a wider profile one soon.

hi there.....wat kinda meet up???c if im not bz then i can meet u guys up...currently doing repairing/upgrading /troubleshooting of PC and Netwroking for end users and small companies...this bike of mine below was taken in nov 2003...now slightly different...corner buang 2 times...left and right once each + hit and run in JB...so u should know wat its gonna be like my bike now...last time stock i manage to get to 145km/h in CTE tunnel...maybe of downslope...

here is a pic on how our sonic engine works...tink its too small...forgotten if got it from an Indonesian webby...i believe its the powercut of the bike...Let me explain...in Thailand the goverment is strict about pollution...this bike is so called enviromental friendly as it reuse carbon monoxide given off from the combustion and developes into carbon dioxide or H2O(vapour) or something...not sure also...notice there are 3 air output.2 to radiator and 1 to airbox again...Hot air and "Poison" gas is being used again for the combustion hence it reduce the pollution and doesnt release the maximum bike power it can give...CO+O2= CO2 + C....if u know chemistry(This is just wat i understand from wat i read from an Indonesian website...correct me if im wrong...just sharing this wif u guys)Thats why ur bike(stock) seems to be hot quickly and the reason for the existence of radiator in a CUB Bike...if u seen the Kallang race Sonics...they have this so called "bottle" at where ur airbox supposed to be and u will see 2 hose input to the bottle and 1 hose output to surroundings...but to install this of course have to change to bigger carberator(SP150) to get the better performance...Again Correct me if im wrong....

Posted

Wah u really did some research.

Well the kallang race Sonic, yellow colour want is indeed using a SP carb. As for the so called "bottle" at where ur airbox supposed to be, not very sure what u trying to say.

Anyway, nice pic of ur bike too.

well i change my air box to air filter in JB and while the guys ta plucking out the air tube to air box.. i do notice a plastic tube inside a rubber tube...

my performance is that it sound nice and pickup faster...
