frm the photo it looks like pure white color

 

the bulb i got frm AGL is somewhat whiter than normal but far from pure white

got it from ah boy jb...

u ask them for the white light cost rm18..

got two type, the cheaper one is not as white.

btw do you guys had experienced any 'weird' things happening to your x1 on rainy days? i rarely ride my x1 during rain. so ever since i started working(delivery), i had to use my x1. for the first time, i had to ride in the continuous rain.

 

then, while riding n playing in the rain, the bike started die off on me. i can start, but later it died again. but sometimes, the bike run as normal.

my pals said that my carb setting might have low timing.

so i went to workshop n reset the timing. but i swear that mech to the core man! the moment i reached there n told him to help me a bit. he suddenly said, "Aw! Jam liao...Jam.." my god i was worried man! i had no mood working then.....

 

but when i finished work, and the rain stops, the weather became fine in the evening. i ride my x1 as normal, and the problem just perished... weird eh?

hey sweetchild,i use to have the same problem as urs...mine lagi worst..rain or shine,once its stop at traffic light it will die off...so wat i do is service the carb(as in go shop n ask them to wash),change spark plug,change E.O...n everiting works damm well...but i tink if u jus change ur E.O n spark plug recently,service carburetor enuf oreadi...dats wat i did ah...

nah it cant be me...

my bike was at tamp the whole day between 10am to 930pm..

broke down some stoopid prob that i brought upon myself..

had to take a long bus ride home to amk from sch..

btw how regular u all service ur bike? coz i heard cubs don have to service as frequent as two-strokes. only regularly change e.o

yup i guess thats true...

my experience with 2-stroke sportsbike was that top service needs to be done regularly (abt once every 20000KM) to wash the piston, carb, valves, etc

 

4-stroke can do without the regular top service

as long as u religiously change EO once every 3000KM or so and change sparkplug once every few engine oil changes will do already

(even the sparkplug for 4-stroke engine doesnt foul as easily as 2-stroke)

 

of course u still need to do some other minor stuff like lubricating of chain, check brake pads etc

 

as wat i would like to quote frm my regular mech "4-stroke kup dont need to open up touch the things inside until when problem arises"

i had such problem during rainy day.... like no petrol and engine will die off.... it's due to ur spark plug cable.... juz change a new one will do the trick.... cost a few dollar only

ppls i jus wan to highlight something in the x1 forum, well my office there got 1 guy who ride a x1 is a ktm design but i have not been seeing him for around 3-4mth +++ liao dunno where he go to. His bike park at the same spot for very very long liao. I am jus concern that his bike parts got stolen or bikes cant start ah... bike plate is FBA616... If u know the rider pls ask him to take care of his bike.

uh...even original spark plug cable will have this problem eh?

 

i'm using spitfire plug cable frm JB

i had similar engine stalling problems when riding in the rain a few months ago

luckily managed to trace the problem to the spark plugcable which gave off 'ticking' sound sometimes when i ride (took me sometime to pin point where the sound was coming frm)

i did some adjustments to the positioning of the plugcable and the problem was solved
