Hi guys, jus got a 2nd hand X1 today.

When i was reaching 80km/h, the speed just cant go up at all and the vibration is jus like going to explode anytime, jus wad is wrong ?

 

Kind soul pls advise. TIA !

80km and tat is ur max? full throttle already? our bike veri light tat y will have vibrations.

cannot be. min at least 110 km .... since u said about vibration.... that might be 3 thing.... u spark plug no power, just change 1 new plug. yr leg stand, tighten it, piston or block, this serious, no chioce got to change..

bro ur description quite vague...

 

if the intensity of the light is stuttering (by not a big margin), its normal.

if not i suggest u check ur connections or electric parts..

ok let mi explain.

My headlight is not constant.. as in the light when I go start my engine. It like no power unless i blow abit. i ask my mech. he said normal which i think it's isnt cos i see few x1 inclub my friend when start the headlight normal.

guys, anyone done grounding kit on ur x1 before ? does it help ?

 

my x1 been running fine after the last 2 major repairs...

but now got new prob, but pretty minor la, electrical stuffs.

the gear indicator is not working too well, other than gear 1, the rest gears aren't shown on the meter! haha

recently tire been losing air... go chk at bike shop, they tell me not leaking... now i scared is rim spoilt...

so going go down there again, if still no prob, i gonna buy new rims...

damn... pumping air every 2-3 days is no fun at all... damn troublesome....

guys i recently went to change my racing foot rest n it was a disaster!!!

1) the uncle duno how to fix n took a bloody long time!

2) my rear brake bar was bent to compromise for e modification!!!

 

i wanna know how much is the brake cable for rear brakes n does installing racing foot rest make such a hassle??

the racing footrest is for x1? my friend use wave racing footrest and the mech use some special bracket to fix on x1.

 

u use drum brake or disc brake? u canot use the original bar cos its too long.. ppl use cable to connect the brake if u use drum brake. take note if use drum brake + racing footrest.. rear brake will reduce its performance.

yeap. using racing footrest reduce ur brake performance. and you will have to use more of your front brake. And one more thing, with racing footrest, hard to pass inspection, i had to undergo 3 times than pass. i pass everything except for rear brake, dats because i use a racing footrest.
