hee...ok la. Sporty's FC not that bad. I do agree more would be nicer but you won't be able to be zippy anymore and also with a 76 litre thank, you'd probably be riding for at least 4 hours before needing to stop for refuel. That could be super tiring.

 

Unless you're talking about 3 gallons of beer then of course, definitely not enough. haha

Eh sound bad man. Ya think change back. Won't really affect performance much right? Or maybe your idle? Did you check? I lowered mine a bit. Saved quite a bit 'specially with the city riding. Heard my friend's idle, damn high man. Can't even hear the po-ta-toe

I think there will be difference in performance (at the expense of FC) when you use a Mikuni. I had the opportunity to throttle (not ride) 3 Sportsters

 

1) Stock carb & AC on SE1 mufflers (my stock 1200S)

2) Mikuni with Pro-R hypercharger on Python3

3) Mikuni with standard hypercharger on SEII

 

Config no (2) sounded & 'felt' the best, followed by (3) & (1)... even on Neutral & idling, I could feel a significant difference in throttle response for (3) & (2) compared to (1) which was my stock Sporty.

 

That kindof convinced me to try for the Mikuni & Hypercharger on my 1200S while its in the workshop. I'd expect my 24km/l FC to drop... but hopefully the improvement in response & sound will make up for it

 

I'm just hoping that by some chance, I am able to find python mufflers that will fit my 03' Sporty...
