think from ur pic u are riding spark right? for the small P lights its T10 mayb u wanna try the MO section there is some forumers selling the t10 bulbs available in many colours

 

sorry bro yos_bikey, i'm new here and do not know where is the MO section... how much do they usually sell bro? another thing, my iu unit is on top... tot of changing it to the bottom where the ignition key is... but afraid gantry cant read my iu if i change the position...how? hehe... thanks bro...

hi bro it depends... but if im not wrong think a bulb is going for $6 if im not wrong... ok there is a section call the product mass ordering, there is a guy selling t10 bulbs m400 is his nick u can check it out!

Went to Koon's to fix my "engine stall at traffic light" syndrome. After going thru, Koon changed my wave's spark plug and tuned the A/F. He tuned 2 screw one next to another, one has a spring set. Anyway, want to ask which one should i tune to bring the rev down?

Thank you for your quick respond, mate. Hope my Wave's stalling and popping exhaust syndrome do not come back again, at least not so quickly. My Wave begin to sound like many of Koon's TA200 when idling...hahaha

basic regular maintenance is change EO, spark plug, clean/lube chain, check tyre pressure and not forgetting wash bike.

 

every 12K change air filter, get ur carb wash at the same time since need to remove fairing... btw dirty air filter is related to dirty carb.

 

engine oil must be 4T or 'engine oil for 4-stroke motorbike'

spark plug change every 1 or 2 EO change.

 

wat do u mean "change spark plug and break"?

I went to Boon Siew and the mechanic there told me that bike shop provide wash carb service is actually bullshit. Sg petrol is already very clean and it acts like detergent to wash the carb so when u remove the carb, it's actually clean inside! Those mechanic just take petrol and 'wash' and 'scrub' the carb for show to earn your $$. He says if the bike got no power, it's not the carb 'dirty' but the air filter is. He said the real wash carb needs a day for big bikes and abt 3-4 hrs for cubs.Dunno how true this is so just share this piece of info with you guys/gals for reference.

Hi frens, I been riding a Wave S for a yr and got 2 queries abt the bike need ur expert advice. Thanks:P

 

1) I had changed the rear abs with a chamber from ah boy which is kiss racing brand. The abs looks chio but i think it is not so gd as i think the chamber is for decoration only as I dun feel the shock was absorded when I goin thru uneven road and cause my a$$ to hurt. When ah boy mechanic fit the abs, he had to put a extension as i do not wan to remove the original chain cover and the abs will kana the cover and due to this, my bike tyres is not 'floating' even on main stand and I suspect due to the bike weight contanstly acting on it cause my tyres to deflate often. I wish to change the abs but brand is gd and cheap? Get from where? Any pics to show? Also I wan to restore the bike to the original height with the new abs.

 

2) Difficulty in starting in the morning or not been riding the bike for 1-2 days And i dun wish to depend on choke whenever I got this problem. What is the cause of it and how to rectify this problem? I dun seems to have seen ppl who had the same model of bike to hv this problem as mine.

Sianz... i've difficulty in starting my Wave R as well especially the next day after raining/cold night or after 2-3days never touch. Sometimes depend on choke to start also cannot... haizz any idea to solve?

anyone know how to remove the head fairing? i took out all the screws but still cant remove the head crowl.

Use more strength to pull it out cause it still have some slots that keep the head fairing.Check in the service manual for more informations

did u dismantle the front cowling first if i dun remember wrongly, dismantle the front first den there are some hidden screws holding on to the black plastic there

hey guys im riding a katana 125cc....hardly u can c on the road.....not that famous......i wana put a box on my kup but cant find a suitable box bracket....i saw once a guy uses a vtec3 s4 bracket for his kup.....if anyone knows wat type of box bracket can be use..plz pm me thx.....

i think ur bike doesnt have a bracket fit properly have to modify from existing racks...
