I've seen some bike reviews on the RUNE. IT is indeed a good (even great) bike, worthy of Honda's Valkyrie breed... but the reviewer (which was a lady rider) says the bike is only happy going forward... you dun wanna push it backwards, nor do you wanna do U-Turns on it :giddy:

Tough to U-Turn would make it a very difficult bike to ride in Singapore

I have ridden the Rune. It is a very powerful bike and with the flat 6 1800 cc engine it is a powerful machine.

However, I would have to consider this bike a "bar hopper" not suited for long distance travel. There are a couple of reasons. First, your legs are spread very wide with the tank and the chrome attachments, more so than on a standard Valkyrie. It becomes uncomfortable after a while.

Second, the riding position is not the greatest. It is a real stretch to reach the handlebars, even with long arms, and tight turns are hard because of the need to reach so far. Perhaps risers would help.

Having said that I wish I could keep my current 1500 cc Valkyrie and add BOTH a Rune and a V-Rod.
