Index fullface is another budget fullface, the design is also very nice, best is go thailand and buy, is so much cheaper. is only ard 800baht, $30+ sing. Too bad they always come with mercury or very dark visor which is not approve here.

bro..i sent you a PM.

anyone knows how is the quality of index helmets?

going for lesson using full face.you want to her to get aim by instructors?if learning 2A or 2 than maybe still can put up with it but if learning 2B....better get a hyper open face helmet for lowest budget or get MHR since you got $200 budget.

Speed isn't very fast in circuit.so if you worry that she might fall down, i think best you get her some knee and elbow padding.fully protected i would say.

hahaha i got the mhr half face... the instructor say full face not allow. feel weird cause i seems to have seen pple wearing full face.

normally those wearing FF are people learning class 2A and class 2.But think 2B guys and gals would ever wear FF unless their skin damn thick.

Back to the topic.I find OGK FF4 is very value for money full face as compare to arai or shoei.cushion is very good and very comfortable to wear this helmet.comes with a visor protector too.

It is not snell approve but for a $390 - $400 price tag or MO by MC28 $370.you are getting value for every penny spend.

when wearing full face helmet, ventilation also very impt. so far i only wear ogk b4 and find tat it's not bad (is it the shape or wat?). Comparing to shoei and arai where the shape just look normal, i'm wondering how's the ventilation like.

yea if the timing is right i would definetly join the MO...

it will take time for 5 people to join the MO.definately those who have time to wait cause most likelt this will take a while.

Other than OGK FF4 i find that MHR open face provide pretty decent protection and design and ventilation too.cushion is pretty comfortable too.value for money i would say.

Lets share some value for money review about helmets rather than just voting. :)

yes it is safe to use FF but might as well wear full suit with FF for full protection and let people see you learn lesson one.....buang the tires.....

possible but not practical.

Would the polymers harden faster if we leave the helmet in the box, with the bike parked under the sun most of the day?

From Honda's manual:

The motorcycle presents you a challenge to master the machine, a challenge to adventure. You ride through the wind, linked to the road by a vehicle that responds to your commands as no other does...

Shoei = good? Nolan = normal?

Hmm... I thought Shoei Syncrotech are crap-lah, too expensive but performance no way better than Nolan. Sad!

Looking for Shoei full face RF1000. Which shop is selling? Chong Aik does not bring in this model which is for Europe and US markets. Regina has X11 and X9. What are the differences? Is X11 really that quiet and X9 as quiet as X11? Any experiences shared are appreciated. Another option is the Synchrotec II but would really prefer a non-flip-up helmet. Any comments on the wind noise? Thanks. Cheers

The polymer degrades faster in heat, especially direct sunlight.

HJC AC-11 is actually pretty good value for money. It's actually used by an AMA Superbike racer, and is Snell approved, and may cost less than the OGK FF-4. I am using the AC-11 now and it feels very good.
