sorry i not sure where cos i dun ride wave........ but my fuse used to blown due to some wrong connection of the extra lighting wiring. as for the battery part maybe its really went dead. change a new battery and if this problem still hangs around then god bless u cos it might be the retifiler is spoilt or even worst the coil.

First check your fuses, then your wiring to see if there is a short-circuit. Lastly & hopefully it is a loose connection.

Your wave is jealous of your busa, because u always polish the busa no polish wave. Tats why wave du lan. hehe.

I just bought this wave recently..think it also time to change battery liao.

btw, if the battery is dead, how come the headlight is got light ???

hope it a small problem...thank anyway.

actually yr bike still can start without the help of the battery (u have to use the kickstart to start yr bike).......... and by this all yr lighting will still be on but not very bright oni. there is a alternator in yr bike which run the bike without using eh battery cos the current from the battery run for the light, horn, signal light and the electric starter

there is white smoke coming out from my exhaust...

my bike is f@cking slow... cannot exceed 100km/h

 

can any kind soul wavers recommend me of a trustworthy and reliable

motoshop in SG for overhauling my bike...

estimated price for overhaul..?

Maybe u can try Sew Mai Motor at AMK Ind Park 2 Blk 5032 #01-309. It was recommended to me by a friend and I must say I'm quite impressed eventhough he seems the nerdy kind. Dun judge a book by its cover hor.

 

I experienced the same problem as urs. He changed my piston ring, rebore the block for only $150.

 

Just my 2 cents worth. Cheers~

guys...whenver my bike hits 80kmh,my engine tends to produce the sound of loose chains rattling,is this common??? and when i hit 100kmh,its sounds like the engine is ready to pushed to the limits...as far as i know(not that much)a stock wave can hit at least 110kmh-120kmh...mine seems to be stuck at 100kmh and seems like i am ready pushing my bike to hard...why ah???

wat i tink might cause e sound is ur chain..as for e speed ermmm have u changed ur sproket b4? n wats e size of ur tires?

13 36...responsive... tried b4..managed 2 tailgate a RXZ in pick up when chalengin dunno if e guy gt full throttle..bt e pipe is f**kin loud..

13-36? Your top speed got affected or not by using this sprocket ratio?

affected abit.. cos my top b4 usin tat was 110km/h after was 105km/h..bt in sg no need top 1 la..pick up more important..jus my 2 cents

guys,my engine is leaking engine oil from the left hand side of the engine,the part with the small screw and big screw(the oil is leaking from the big screw)i think its because i recently changed to the coloured posh screws,how to rectify the problem ah...thanks

helo guys... 1st thanx for viewing my post...

 

my 2nd wave s recently got this problem... when i m travelling abt 90 constant

 

from sengkang to cck juz b4 going out my exit i exprience sudden jerk in my bike

 

then i close my throttle and open again there is delay in opening, muz open more

 

then the bike will pickup again, later while jerk again...

 

after exit stop at traffic light, the bike will engine die off....

 

start and open abit throttle bike engine die off again....

 

have been exprience it 4 sumetime liao

 

my engine oil uses fully sny, denso sparks plugs... carb juz change new 2 to 3 mth

 

ago, since that change i haven wash my carb...

 

can any seniors advice mi on my problem... & wat is the problem... & how to solve

 

it...? btw i m using spc 98....
