Topic : Neutral to Gear 1 suddenly got power

i just do grounding and EO last week, but i found out this on yesterday. nomarlly from neutral to gear 1 i dun feel the jerk, now i feel the jerk quite big, and when i put main stand and kick to gear 1 my wheel spin faster 20-40% faster compare when i just bought the bike. i heard chain sound but i thix is normal la, coz i dun thix the chain casuing it.. It a new bike, just reach 1000km liao.. any problem alnot or is normal???

hey ppl i jus joined sgbikes.. i have some poblems.. the other day i install sound system in my bike.. it wen well... on that night my speedometer light wen off wen i was riding... but my bike was still running.. den i decided to stop... wen i off my ignition and on back i tried to start using the button start.. it couldnt be start.. den i kick start..only den my bike start.. my headlight. neon light, and sound system is working... my signal, speedometer light, horn start button is not working.. i really donno wads the problem.. pls help me ppl... sorry for taking ur time to read this.... pls reply guys.... i really need ur help... :help:

Topic : need help on wave

Description : when ram the bike vibrates heavily.

Can anyone enlighten me? cox the vibration of my wave is getting worst when i ram it at neutral gear, as compared to the time where i jux got my bike, even my erp unit which is attached by the mirror will vibrate. it been quite sometime since i full service it already hence is it due to tat? i onli change engin oil and spark plug. got ppl advice me do overhaul. but i seldom run or speed, onli a transport from home to school. average speed is abt 80-90km/h only. and is a FW plate. appriciate it if any could help me.

Mine also FW plate, It vibrate until lik hell. Bo pian wan! the bike is getting old. Jus tighten all screw it will be better!

change the engine oil.. maybe some mounting screw is loose.. best to get it check by mechanic n fix it..

Topic : Need some help with Steering Problems

Hi everyone,

 

Recently I have this problem with my wave125s. Travelling slow speed, say 10 ~ 30km/h, when I tried free my hand of the handle grips to test the steering alignment, the bike tries very hard to swerve to the left.

 

This problem is magnified when I pillion someone. the left swerving is more obvious. So I went to Ah gua lane to let the mechanic check, and he knocked the steering cone to tighten it and ask me to go and test for 1 week.

 

If the problem still occurs, he said that the problem might be due to misaligned forks or rims. But I was thinking that I had no accidents at all and I'm using original Honda sport rims, is that even possible for a close to 2 & 1/2 year bike ? I hope fellow Wave bros here can advise me if the problem is just purely due to spoilt steering cone or misaligned forks/rims like what JB mechanic has said ?

change the steering bearing and wheel bearing first.

 

meanwhile try to indentify what u last did before seeing this change in alignment.....

if i m nt wrong u r using thai tt900? change ur tyre n c...cos thai tt900 gt uneven wear n tear.. dun waste $ on changin ur steering cone...

oh, i forgot to mention. I just change my rear and front wheel bearings few weeks ago. Is there such thing as a steering bearing ? I thought there's only the steering cone ?

no lah, I'm using Duro soft compound tyres, back and front. sigh...if it's really due to tyres, then really sianz liao..
