yes.... in my opinion scottoiler only help u lubricate.. not cleaning ur chain..

Yes but not as often as when u are using chain wax/spray.

Cuz Scottoiler Oil is water based....That means can be washed away with water. So just find hose and spray to clean it. No need for kerosene to scrub.

scott oiler in some ways does help to clean the chain IMHO the excess oil catches the dirt and flings offs ...on my previous bike ...the chain still has its brand new gold look to it even after 1 year of riding

clean one. good for touring and those less inclined to regular maintenance.
