positioning light

guys, i have a question, when driving at night, is it illegal to on positioning light instead of headlights? because while driving earlier, i was changing lane and all of a sudden a taxi with only positioning lights on zoomed past my car, if i moved any faster, it will definitely become an accident.

 

I admit that i didn't on the signal but i did check my mirror b4 changing lane and it is clear. actually, the taxi might as well dun on his positioning light since it can only be seen when it is very close. And i am certain that he is speeding as i am travelling at the speed limit of 70 km/h and when he zoomed past, i estimated it to be at least 95km/h.

 

even damn irritating is that he honk me. so while stopping at the traffic light which is red, i pulled down my window and he got the cheeks to say me, i counter back by saying that he did not on his headlights but wasn't sure whether is it an offence. i mean i know that it is an offence to not on the lights but dunno whether it is enough just to on the positioning light.

 

i was so frustrated that i almost show the magic finger but decided to refrain seeing as there are 4 other people in his taxi. Now i am abit worried that he might report my vehicle to TP, although i can say that he is speeding and only on positioning lights, i have no passenger in my car and it is 5 people against me so i can say to have a disavantage.

u mean the pole lite right bro? yup its illegal. u nid to on ur headlight. dun worry, those taxi driver wunt take the hassle to report to tp hq as no accident involved. even if he does, i tink the tp wunt be bothered coz there are too many complaints on taxi driver. hahaha

ya i also agree that taxi wun be so boliaoz to complain other ppl when they are the worst drivers around.

Take down his license plate and report to the taxi company....

 

Its an offence not to have your headlights switchedon from 7-7
