BSB - Round11 - Cadwell Park

Found this in another forum that Leon Camier had a really horrible fall at the daunting "mountain" section. He has a broken femur and dislocated as well as broke his kneecap in the accident. Hope he recover well.

The track is really crazy and bikes are flying uphill as they speed over the mountain....guess without a 'tard I will never really wanna try this kindda track. I have no balls. Youtube to see more videos about this track.

The crash is real bad and the clip shows this quite clearly, so be warned!

Never know you are are medically intellect bro  I dun really understand when they mention such medical terms when they describle injury conditions.

Yup, the crash looks bad, and it's a crazy place to race! Though it's not even big air, but taking jump with a sports bike in a race.....damn!

Hey guys,

I just got back from visiting Leon Camier at the hospital.

Yep, thats right, Leon and I were partners in the Tanjong Katong Marble League back in the day.

Anyway, after the nurse finished with him (wank I think), Doctor House limped in and told us that the injury to his knee and knee cap was extremely serious and he may never walk unassisted by a cane again, let alone race a mo'orsickle.

Leon's face turned white with shock! (I was smiling since Hydrex Honda had always wanted me to ride for them...)

Then he said that Leon had severly dislocated his knee and knee cap along with ligament damage. However, Leon's case was recoverable and we should be able to see him jumping the mountain at Cadwell Park again soon.

After which, Doctor House started making fun of me for riding a Yamaha, since he rides a Honda CBR1000 Repsol replica (He does! Watch the show!).

Quote: Doctor House (in an accent that eerily mimics Ozzy):

"Yamaha - Cannot MAKE IT ah bro!"

He said that the only good thing that Yamaha makes are drums, guitars and keyboards...(sound familiar Throttlestop?)

He even told me to give up since I cant even keep up with Remon's stock CBR1000 at the MSS...

I knew that he was abrasive and sarcastic in the show, but he was even worse in person.

After losing an argument with him on which brand is better and trying to give lame excuses for not doing well (too many chicks dont want me to get injured-yeah I wish), I told him that he sucked and that Singapore's own Doctor (Doctor Dol/ChenDol/Durian Flavoured Dol Dol) would kick his ass.

He laughed mockingly, so I kicked him in his bad leg and ran off with Eva Langoria from Desperate Housewives.

The Director, Steven Spielberg then yelled cut and offered me a role in the next action blockbuster:

Mew Mew strikes back

Yamaha makes great Bass Guitars!!!

We have tons of bass heros using Yamaha Bass....Billy Sheehan on Altitude, Nathan East on the BB series, John Pertitucci on the TRB series and John Myung  on the RBX series. Local hero Hirari on the TRB back in the days but he was kick off the contract eventually due to lack of skills at the low ends... So the TRB was sold away.

It's good to know some of these terms when they explain injuries. I really feel bad for Leon Camier. I wonder if MotoGP race in Cadwell Park, how big is big air for sportsbike? In addition to the fastest lap record, top speed, etc, they could add in "Highest jump taken".

Hartholomew,

I never quite understood what defines black humour but I think after reading your post I have gained a new insight.

:)

Hey Nomad,

Black Humour? Well, not exactly... I prefer to label it nonsense that jumps into my head from time to time...

They have to time and shut the throttle like MX bikes when they have big air.... though GP and SBK racers are experts and we know they surely know how to handle such tracks, it's scarly to imagine when they lost 1% of concentration when racing on such crazy tracks.

Current BSB leader is a Jap racer.
