hrmz...

one word of caution for pple who wanna use aftermarket spokes

the part of the spoke which is used for tensioning the spoke to the rim gets rusty easily

anyway i vote for gold rims w/ black spokes

black spokes so that its easy for u to spray the rusty part w/ black paint

and it looks nice~

too bad i only have money to change spokes...so now mine is original chrome rim + bright yellow spokes

:cheeky:

considering changing to sports rims but wonder if my tyres need to be changed as well

abit sayang if i have to throw away my current TT900 juz cause i need to change to sportsrims :giddy:

2) 70/80 for fast straight road.. but u gotta have the ball to play corner in this kind of tyres...

3) 80/90 front 90/80 back for cornering.. it u corener siow ar..

battlax is recommend for corner siow(smallest size is 80/90)

dunlop tt900 thailand will do for the both 1st n 2nd

its better to get tt900 GP japan one.. but price about the same wif battalax

note: pls check manufacture date of tyre.. tyre after 6 month pls dun buy gonna cos ya hazard.

tyres will expired after 3 years of manufactured..

Topic : IRC Tyres.

Description : Nil

Extremely dangerous. I was riding my 1 and 1/2 mth old raider150 after the rain. When i approached a roundabout and depressed my rear brakes slightly. The next thing i knew, my bike fish-tailed and skidded. I was thrown to the ground and i was only travelling at 30++km/h! Imagine if i was going faster than that. :giddy:

Now my beloved raider is scratched...

Any better tires to recommend for better stablity and grip for all weather condition? Thanks for the help!!

Till now still very heart pain over my new raider...

been riding raider150 and i found that the IRC wings actually quite ok. during raining been riding more than 70km/hr and use front and rear brake, so far still ok. have u clear the tyre wax enough before you corner and brake? this disc brake the grip good, so cannot treat it as normal cub drum brake. when i downgrade from Blackbird to R150, i get used using front brake only due to the combine brake system. on this r150, i feel the braking very good when u used both. if straight press hard also no prob, but when corner try gradually.

Posted

Maybe is the road too.. :giddy: I felt the grip was good on new tarmac. Especially those multi-storey carparks. Just not my day that i fell. But I did skidded a few timewhile riding along AYE. I always use engine brake and the rear brake (gradually)... Maybe because i am still a newbie.
