I use this tachometer on my phantom.. abt $20+ frm ebay.. jux wrap d cable ard ur spark plug cable, n mount. No wiring to mess wif.. runs on its own battery.. nt d nicest looking, but functional..

it tells ur engine RPM.. gd wen u wanna adjust ur idling and tune ur carb.. and oso can see ur engine RPM wen u cruising along.. pretty cool gadget! plus, when the engine is off, it displays the no. of hours the engine is run.. good to monitor ur engine running hours and to schedule ur service intervals...

i've been supporter of planet for 3 over years now. and that is the exact price i paid for the stuff u named 3 years ago. so u think u tokked? haha.

 

for overhaul, there are 2 types. one is top overhaul alone, which is when the just change ur piston and re-bore the engine block; this costs $380... another overhaul is full overhaul, this one involves ur piston and ur conrod. this job is much more tedious, n the price for this is $480...

 

so from the looks of it, i think he did a full overhaul for u. tires wise, that is e normal price. air filter n battery will be cheaper if u buy from other places like ah boy n fix urself. but since u al planet, just let them do la.

And I thought brake pads should only be around $15-20? I think he might have mistook it for brake disc. Oh wells. :/

oh.. so he does the conrod and all for an additional $100? urgh! shud hv done it all at once wen i went for top overhaul in july.. didnt knw abt this... oh well!

 

oh ya.. the brake pads like abit ex oso.. in july he charge me $20 for new pads + cleaning my caliper cux d piston inside jam...maybe he service d caliper oso?

Yes, he changed everything.

 

I think he might have confused it with the brake disc, cos earlier on I said I wanted to change the brake disc but last minute change decision. Not sure whether he cleaned caliper.

Guys, recently i skidded my bike in a rainy day due to someone suddenly took a change in his lane. i brake soo hard that my bike skidded, fuel tank got dented pretty badly.

soo im asking.

 

1. should i replace the fuel tank with new ones?

2. get to a workshop and knock it back then respray.

please advice!
