Bro matthias76, the price brand new is just for the exhaust manifold only or the exhaust manifold plus the endcan? Coz mine is the exhaust manifold part that is cracked.

Before you weld, bring it to LTA for inspection first. They will then take photo of it before you weld and afterwards when you are done, you need to bring it back to them for inspection again.

Else the next time you will have problems with your yearly inspections, or even worse if you are stopped on the road. They will impose penalty of $700 for modified exhausts.

I talk to a vicom person few days back, wanting him to take a pic before I weld my pipe, he said no welding is approved.

Got to write letter to explain why need to weld to LTA first then they will entertain.

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

Btw bro jtzx any idea how much will it cost to do the welding?

It depends on your workshop. I ever weld my pipes for free at planet motors. Its a very simple task only.
