starter carbon i think don't apply to TA150.. anyway the starter needs carbon to crank the engine.. the other time my bike cannot start cos no more carbon..

i think this is a carbon brush...this is used in electric motors..like starter,drill etc..with time the brush wears out it need to be replaced. if not the worn out brush will damage the stator coil (the rotating part of motor) and u need to replace motor then...

i am truly astonished to hear that the starter brush is so xxxx..

Wanna DIY change to custom4 handlebar... Anyone knows if the original brake/throtle/clutch cables + wirings are long enough or need to be changed?

 

and just realized that my brakes and clutch levers are at different angles No wonded I always thought that my right side mirror the angle a bit off...

Bought custom4 handlebar from LAB last Sat $18-20... Honda genuine parts... according to Ah Boy, original cables can fit, but might be a bit tight... will try it out this weekend... Kuryakyn grips arriving tonite

 

on MC today, sleep till bored liao, so went to DIY install the custom4 handlebars + grips... haha

Verdict is (for my case, at least):

Wires - OK

Clutch cable - OK

Front brake line - just enough

Throttle cable - tight, throttle opens slightly if tilt all the way left

checked before @ Ah Boy... he just half-heartedly tell me >$100 ("pak kui kor")... cuz i also half-heartedly asked that time...

can try to call him up to check (if u can get through!)...

 

end up i just went to Aunty shop for +padding and re-wrap... =X

just change my phantom wheel bearings i think not quite sure wat it was but it was making lots of noise,changed for 28 bucks anyone think i got chopped?

well just wanted to enquired coz i never change the bearing before and all along i tot there was a problem with my fork, which would have cost much more than 28 bucks,

you made a change that you know should help your bike and lessen the load on your wallet dude, take it easy. 28 is cheap enough

i remember re-wrapping mine with added cushion for $48 at auntie. w/o cushion if i remember correctly is either $30 or $38. hope this serves as a gauge for u.
