Hi, first of all you neet to apply for the SMSA membership, than they will release a letter for you to go at the inspection centre and get the approval for of road bike. Now you can bring your bike to Malaysia.

G plate can't go to the north, you may contact Doc Dol 92255007 he has a Van and is doing this kind of services.

Otherwise if you own a car you may purchase a trailer from dirt wheels (KTM distributor).

I guess he meant a bike modified/ laid up so that its no legal on the road? As opposed to a race bike imported from overseas purely for racing?

I might be wrong. Cheers

I think you can get a racing log card done with SMSA.But you have to get it inspected with LTA first to declare it as NOT road worthy and where the bike is stored when not in use...

Not for road use la dude! ha. For race-use only of course.. The licence enables you to bring it out of SGP for races up north. And makes you a legal owner of an off-road race-only machine lor..

cheers

im interested in the trailer as well, maybe a few can get together and share a trailer park it somewhere and use it whenever we need it. My bike is street legal but I hate riding up north to track or on singapore streets(as exiting as watching grass grow...ha ha)

just a thought...
