Hi all.

Good day to you.

I'm currently riding a Gilera Runner ST 200.

These two weeks I haven't been feeling well so I did not ride my bike. Today when I started my bike, I was shocked to see the petrol completely drained. The dashboard orange indicator was on, signalling it was running on reserve.

I remember there was slightly less than half of petrol before I left it parked but now it's gone.

Anyone has the same experience or any idea what could be the problem?

Thank you in advance for all the assistance.

trying topping up the petrol and see how much you can top up. it might be the indicator error.

did someone else in your family ride the scooter? any sign of the fuel line being tamper with?

Hi all.

Thank you for your replies.

@zhang jin:

I'm not sure if the gauge is faulty cause everything else works fine, such as the indicator light, headlight, clock among others. People told me that the petrol could have evaporated, but I was a bit skeptical as I had it secured. Still, I'll be sending my bike to the workshop this weekend to check if anything is wrong.

@Isopropyl:

I have yet to top up the petrol. I will do it this weekend before sending to the workshop. No one else rides the bike apart from me. So, it's either the petrol evaporated or there might be a leakage. I'll soon find out.

Nonetheless, thank you both for your kind reply.

Have a good day.
