hey does the pulsar's engine sound funny when it's idling? my friend's pulsar makes a rattling/knocking sound. Sounds really weird.

Is this normal?

latest update.

864km - 17.6litre..

seems like it cant go above 1000km coz after the half tank, needle goes down very quickly

maybe neodynium (sp?) magnets on the fuel line might help.

problem actually lies with the tank's shape and the fuel gauge not linearly proportional to each other.

tats y after half, it goes down really quickly

No more regrets.

these magnets have been said to help many rides get more mileage out of their petrol. what i am saying is they might help you hit the magical 1000km tank range. :sian:

all fuel tanks work like this. first bar take very long to drop, subsequent bars drop very rapidly, till the reserve bar.

on my previous bike, it takes about 80km for the first bar to go down, then the next 7 bars are like 20km each.

i am sure if you ride at 40kmh, along NSH, with no stop and go acceleration, u can hit 1000km in a single tank.

1000km @ 40kmh = 25hrs (can qualify for titanium butt liao)
