Something really weird is happening to my bike's FC. The last 4 consecutive tanks went up to a bout 26~27km/l (usual is about 22~24km/l). I haven't been riding particularly aggressively recently, but the improvement is too good to be true...

 

I'm starting to suspect there's something wrong with my trip meter o_O

on trip, TDM with pillion and 3 side box consume petrol as same as vtec1 on single rider with tank bank. :sian: plus monstrous torque at any gear.

interesting thing about my yammie majesty 400 is that it tells me how much more distance i can cover in miles when i hit reserve..

 

that figure is pretty accurate too..

Yeah, you get that type of full range torque since its only running twins (vs inline4)

 

Kiamh, all the more i want your HD now lol.
:D Yeah, its really a bonus that that FC is beyond my expectations. I was expecting 18~20km/l for a carb HD when I did my sums. Only thing different about my Sporty is that it is running twin plugs.

 

Its gonna be mighty tough for me to consider a change now....

See how you want it done. I chin chye.

 

Just solved the contol problem. There is a screw need to tune until very tight then can. According to Rosli (my mechanic), the control is only suitable for trips. Sg road abit hard to use. The thing is once you tighten the screw, your throttle also becomes hard to turn.

 

 

Btw guys, I get around 21-22km per ltr for my Fz6.:thumb:

Guys, I am thinking of going to Cameron Highland end of Nov. Right after NBW. 2D1N, Sun go Mon come back. I got a rough idea how to get there. We go slow, 120~130...more stops on the way, I want to take photos....

 

Anyone interested? Anyone willing to guide?

i recommend going on the new route via ipoh both ways to save time..

When's the date? Can confirm?

I only free after 25th Nov. SAF MOB Manning period.

Have to stay in Singapore to watch TV, see if got code word flashing. :(
