iszt? i home-made a plastic wrap.. just zip of on my jeans only... it protects tights and below agains water.. but still be little wet ;-) is wearing leather shoes good? as in man-made leather..

 

balls wet underwear wet....no protection sure wet....

 

the home-made plastic wrap is only useful in drizzles... which means you won't bother about in the first place...

 

in a light rain, the pants is gonna be drenched.

 

as for your shoes... it doesn't matter what material... water can still seep in... once your feet/socks are wet its good game for you... of course if you are a frequent rider (which I dun think so) you can invest in a good pair of riding boots...

 

buy any boots thats good for walking and riding....SAF boots esp goretex very good...accident before, nothing happened to the boots u wan i can show u...

to me, rain is just part & parcel of riding.

u wan go faster???open throttle fully till u feel that the clutch has slight slippage, den u close ur throttle slightly and open slightly again, this is to prevent clutch slippage, and prematurely busting it...

 

hmmm... my clutch feels solid... but I feel that the carb is getting flooded... maybe I'm running my engine too rich...?

I got into an minor accident on the way home from camp a few months back, a car knocked into the front left side of my bike while I was travelling at fairly low speeds and my left boot was torn. I doubt it could have held out well if I had crashed at higher speeds...I posted the picture as well, not sure where it went to but here it is again.

yea... unless it is a pair of armoured riding boots I doubt other footwear can survive crashes... thenation hopefully your foot is ok

the only thing i can think of, is excessive use, i.e. wear, tk out, wear, tk out, due to me hvin to roam ard consistantly, the previous 3 pairs is seldom use before I switch job that need me to ride constantly, so the 1st pair, after more than 3 years, gone, 2nd & 3rd pair is due to cutting slightly smaller, so when wear, hv to stretch abit, this recently last pair, think maybe I overstretch abit, as you know, when wearing on the run, gota be quick before the rain consumes me...

 

maybe really gota save up for rs taichi's seamless rainpants...
