hurm. i dunno how to say it but i'll try.

1) when riding my bike got the tick tick sound. like comes from the sprocket or chain

2) when i throttle my bike even in neutral gear after a while got weird sound. usually during engine braking. like metal grinding each other

3) my rear brake doesnt seems to have the grip anymore. like no smooth braking instead more like the brakes are gripping the disc

4) my right signal light only front got light but never blinks. the rear one is totally dead unless i hit it and only the front signal light will start to blink

dang, seems like i was irresponsible in taking care of my bike. need bring her go doctor alr.

i am a fujifinepix fan myself...

bought S9500...3 years ago, and never regretted it.

the newer models are very compact and small...smaller than the palm..$365...thinlk of adding that to my dry cabinet.S1500... compact prosumer camera.

12x zoom, 10mp...take a look..the price i just so tempting

Personally am a Nikon fan and exposed the Canon more when I was w/out my own d.cam. Preferred Nikon's quality and Canon's user friendliness. Maybe thats why my biasness towards other brands which I've used before and found them not so good.. :deal: Especially the pocket cameras for aunties and lil girls to take group shots

Am looking at the Panasonic TZ7 now. After so much reading and finding out and asking, not as bulky as the Canon makes it a better choice.

Range for the above are about 600-800

haha I always believed the bulky cams are the ones with the solid "ingredients" inside. You tested both yet? :D

Waseh, your budget quite good aye. Back when I wanted to get a cam after selling my Dad's Yashica SLR also could afford a low end Konica Minolta when I was few hundred bucks off the price of normal Canon D.Cams :pity: Stuck with it till now since I gave up the hobby and the camera has lost its value already..

1) check your chain slack.. is it too loose ? then time to change

2) could be timing chain or timing chain tensioner

3) brake pads worn out.. a pair of brake pads cost 20$~ish.

4) could be cable loose, if u got itchy fingers, can try open up the light to check the bulb.. otherwise.. let bikeshop do..

one more thing, is there anyway i can put lights in the meter thingy? cos i cant really see how fast or slow im going at night

thanks

there must be light in speedo meter, 2 small blubs.. u can get them from ah boy (just told him speedo bulb) just open 2 allen keys and you can see the bulb socket hole behind speedo housing.

Josh u did it at planet issit?

Whats with the rear brake pump and wheel bearing?

Fyi the rear brake pump i serviced b4, think kena 30$.

Btw u change sprocket and chain together for 130 issit?

If its only for sprockets, i think its expensive coz i changed my vara 125 rear sprocket to phantom sprocket for $25. If plus front sprocket, couldnt be that expensive bah....

I want to see the world and i'm pretty sure the world wants to show a little something to me.

Please give a breakdown of what the cost for each invdividual component should be (according to yourself, and not what other people say), and also the labour cost for the work done.

It will help me to know more.

ay.. PC show are usually selling retail price + give you a lot of freebies that you dun need..

for me i always prefer to go to reputable camera shops to get a better pricing minus all the unwanted (cleaning kit/bag/this/that) freebies

ask any photographer and they will point you to the commonly frequent shop.. a*an photo @ simlim, c*thay photo @ peninsular, msc*lor @ amk, the c*mera workshop near peninsular..

dun have to go down la.. just give them a call and ask for their price.. where is cheaper then get from where loh.

cause while changing the sproket, taking out the rear wheel, think the brake liquid too much le.. damage the brake pump..

jtzx haven't even listed what was changed when you made that comment, you just anyhow whack a comment quite ex...

:gun::gun::gun:

i change the sproket set , rear brake pump , bearings , EO , sparkplug and bleed my brakes and brakes pad (front only)..

oh yea finrod.. the rear brakee pump is something which spring back the brake pad when force is input.. the brakepump which you repaired before is just a repair kit.. tempory repair only.. so i had to make a choice if i should just replace the whole set or just use the repair kit..

oh yea.. the rear wheel rims are damage also.. meaning suppose to replace the whole rear wheel which is expensive.. so thanks to ah chiong creativity, he slot a thin can sheet in between the bearings and the wheel..

yup the sproket which you change is not OEM. just a local product. " chiong parts" what the mech said.

thats a good breakdown which i feel is fairly priced. Wow. racing bike. hehehe

Lunloon, g10 is made of Magnesium if im not mistaken. quality wise still in the compact camera technology so i dun expect too much out of them. just for compactness.

I will go for semi pro for zoom and price.

Compact camera for convenience.

Dslr for expressing your creativity, options available and photo quality(colour, noise, sharpness etc.

Canon, panasonic and fuji not bad for compact cameras. IMHO.

1) my sprocket and chain change to a new set. got the tick tick tick sound.

2) my right rear signal bulb was dead so change to new one

3) change the brake reservoir the inside(dunno what is it called. cause my brake cant brake properly

4) had to change my brake pad as its badly worn out

5) change my rear disc to a new one as it was thin due to the brake pad.
