No sh1te... I spotted a heat sink in your pics... o_O wanna guess the next component to go? :p

nah I saw that too... but it can't really be a heat sink since the box itself was airtight... I had to chisel and hammer the box to open it... even if it is a heat sink it would be a very hopeless one...

so can show it to us this coming sat yea? haha

wahhh... I just spent a few hours putting it on... don't torture me... :giddy:

next we shall have a mini fire....ooops....hope he didn't glue the whole f*** shop....hahahaaa

no... I won't ask for help on the forums... its just to show the others with strobe about what's wrong with mine...

oH  chey!

true to a certain extent... the COE was ending in about 5 months when i took over the bike and there were a number of parts that need replacing. but $200 is still a steal i think. under my ownership, these are the maintainance history other than the regular EO and plug change.

1. throttle cable

2. clutch cable

3. front tire

4. air filter (to my horror, the airbox no filter as the whole filter kenna "makan":faint:)

5. 2T rubber hose

6. speedometer (2nd hand)

7. brake light activator switch

8. servicing of carb (wash and replace a needle like valve)

9. sprocket & chain

10. rewrap seat

Most of the jobs was done at *****t.

soo how much was spent?

i wonder who...

i still have phantom footpeg with heel rest... once scrapped one corner and then put back original ..

Teehehe I wonder whom

I hope not too! With glue trapping the heat around the component that looks to be a transformer and the heat sink, things could get a little bit too hot in the box... :pity:

Well, only one way to find out... hehe... good luck!

i am skipping 2A too.. not worth the money... 10k for a 2nd hand spec 3 or silverwing(two bike which i considered to upgrade to).. 16-17k for a 2nd hand fazer fz1? lol

i'm skipping class 2A too.. unless ta200 die on me then no choice but to get a class 2A bike..

all the best skipping 2a bikes..

do take note that the power and weight difference very noticeable between a 2b bike and a c2 bike..

but its gonna drain your battery right? cause i thought of buying one for transport during my ns time. but was scared that it cannot start if left it down there. some more its electric start so ya. it would be a problem if it can't start. okay. then if lets say the battery flat then how to make it start?

Posted

hmm. i can't seems to find using the search function. so you definitely need to use your legs to do the push start, if i'm abit short is it gonna be difficult for me? by the way jtzx i took the tp test the same date as you at cdc as well. can you please kindly explain the method of doing so?

Posted

hahaha... i'm frm ssdc ;-)

step 1 : switch on key

step 2 : clutch in and engage with gear 1 or gear 2..

step 3 : either you sit on bike and roll yourself down a slope/hill or you quickly run with your bike by your side..

step 4 : throw your clutch and bike will jerk alittle. Engine starts.. oh yea. remember to clutch in before the engine dies again.. ( meaning stall)

step 5 : you are done and good to go ;-)

yup.. in the discovery channel programme, they put cooking oil and it continued running.. put lots of weight and the bike could still take the rider to places.. throw it down from 6 stories high the bike could still start.. so yea, amazing tough ride. can find the vid in youtube..
