HKL open on sunday?

i remember last year i got 1 sunday i went AV and saw HKL open and i change my chain there for my phantom

seeking reviews from bros who have upgraded to S4, who are riding S4 currently or rode S4 before, from spec 1 to spec3 revo, boldor or not.

 

seriously considering S4 for my 2A. might be upgrading in a few months time, most probably in june or abit later.

 

from spec 1 to 3, any major difference other than bodywork like at which rpm does the vtec start to open. im more concerned with the internals like the engine, electrical wiring, etc.

 

any chassis difference, i know spec 1 don have HISS (Honda ignition security system)

1) Go to S4 section, & do a read up, all yr answers there!

2) Mini summerise:

PB1, Ver. R & Ver. S:

Pro: Average-Normal FC if bike in gd condition;

Con: No Vtec; Uber old bike. Spares maybe scarce to find.

Spec 1:

Refreshing updates & upgrades frm CB4 prior family, Vtec evolution.

"L" model for learning centres.

Spec 2:

Minor updates & upgrades frm Spec 1, Vtec timing brought forward slightly.

H.I.S.S. introduced. Mainstand optional.

Spec 3:

Body updates & upgrades. Vtec timing similiar as Spec 2.

Mainstand optional. Bol d'Or model introduced inconjunction with anniversary.

Revo:

EFI evolution, replacing carb era, & new engine design. Vtec timing same as Spec 2 & 3.

ABS / CBS also introduced.

 

If interested to know, remind me to bring the history of CB4 to let u see nxt time.... type here cannot finish ah.. :sweat:

well, its our (my to be exact) passion to ride.

as ppl ard me would always ask, when are you gona buy a car / drive?

i immediately shut them up by simply saying, my cp, rd tax, COE, petrol, ERP cost, are way cheaper and most of all, no jam, @ any time.

 

thou i do hv negative thoughts, bt, to quote:

some riders have gone on to bigger things, be it family or others... and for most of time they won't be able to find spare time so easily... so... I guess I can say that it isn't unexpected... I wish to ride forever, hopefully the future doesn't change that statement for me :smile:

 

anyway, some of them might still be active in the forums, just that they are more active in other threads :cheeky:

hahaha...not selfish its juz that those who can take care of themselves come, but i juz like to keep this as small as possible, i dun wan anyother things to bother me when i ride, this is a half day trip, so i like things to be as fun as possible....

hey... its only a $8 admin fee... I think you should pay this small amount... and save your appeal for more important issues such as speeding, illegal mods, no road tax etc...
