aha... the difference is a balance of power and agility... wave is too underpowered to accelerate off traffic lights so they are stuck within their lanes, difficult to get into the lane you want if you have to prepare for a turn...

a big sheep just need a twist on the throttle and off we go! :cheeky:

modding a bike for transport use isn't a very good idea... it would be too loud, engine parts wear off very quickly... et cetera...

but I guess your friend rides it as his primary bike right...?

Scoots... yeah, I'm considering one... anything used available for less than $4k?

I'm just casually asking... I don't wanna go window shopping @ motordiam JUST IN CASE I make any hasty decisions.

I have actually called a couple of sellers in SBF, but never really made an appointment to view bike... half hearted efforts really...

I do like the new Z1000 though... :D

the 2010 z1000 is probably the most rational japanese big bike... I like it a lot too... but I am still far from earning money to get one... oh well...

There is a right time for everything. Be patient.

I'll pamper myself again when I achieve my career goals. Dunno what bike it will be, but it probably won't be the zed by then. Haha.

if can buy harley at scoot price.. i dont mind

but we are talking about ~6k (new phantom) budget range for candyass.

majesty or burgman would serve correct purpose for (local) transport. auto gear so no need to hold clutch in traffic, no boiling coolent and hot air blowing like naked bikes.. no wet feet on roads.. comfy seat.. huge storage space undeseat..

the hot air part u might be surprise i tell u from wat i used to rode...only rainy days or night time its cooling, but day time its a sauna with no wind to cool u down....or maybe its juz my ride hahahaa....i always whack till the coolant near boiling....thats the thing about scoots, endless fun with good cornering and stability, unless we are talking about proper maxi-scoots, SYM and kymco doesn't fall into the category IMO

hmmm...if u find any Silverwings with mileage below 100k km dont hesitate, because from what i gather around so far, most swing average mileage are around the area of 80k km...

Swings servicing is as breakdown, 5000km change EO 2L, 15K Km change Oil Filter, 20K-28K km change tire, 40K-60K km change belt, roller, u clip. Spark plug, 50k Km minimum then u start to think about changing, other than that its juz an oversize C70 if u were to ask me considering the feedbacks i've received so far....

anyway Swing 400 has 2 models one is eurospec and the other is JDM...diff is only a overdrive button which serves no purpose on the eurospec and that one of them has a limiter built in...

Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see farther.

actually i main concern is the width after installing the box..

i wan to make it min. width, so tinking which box will be smaller when installed

haha top up ar, means i pay 500 u top up the rest? hahaha

seriously any1 know e41 and v35 when fix on FZ6 which will be narrower?

think of this, E41, big & squarish, so when mounted, it'll stand out.

V35, contoured to the rear , not so big in size, so wouldnt be that much wide.

Google it & you can see.

it comes with OSIM massage chair, 32" LCD TV, karaoke and full drink bar

kekekeke

+ PS3 or NWii too...

Thnaks for the input guys.. but i still don like scoot. Its bit brain dead to ride. Will wait for any new phantom. Heard new ones arriving in 2 months time.

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.
