but does ur bike installed with turbo? does ur bike capacity 3/4L or at least 1l>?

all this make some improvement to those big CC car/ racing cars..

Consider the alu foil a technical demonstrator, if a dozen layers of 3% reflectivity foil can heat up the exhaust stream for faster heat evacuation from the engine (proven, refer to pic of me touching engine on fb) and reduce back-pressure from the exhaust giving me even better throttle response than what the intake and cooling mods do (also proven, toss out water injection).

 

Every time I poke at things over the past 2 months the carb mixture is affected significantly, which means -something- is going on. It's not as easily understandable an effect as aerodynamics (windshield not enough, I want a laminar flow-capable airfoil!) but they work provided some reading is done beforehand.

 

A proper exhaust wrap will be more durable and serve its purpose of heat reflectivity and insulation even better, and won't look so out of place like the NASA aluminum foil tube secured by hose clamps and fishnet stockings.

I only gt the black one. & its material is made of fibre glass..

icic, so you only wrap the heading of the exhaust pipe or the whole thing? Hmm... I always tot that's for prevention from getting burnt if accidentally leaning on the exhaust leh! Hahaha...

 

Hmmmm, not sure how it'll look on my bike with my current theme but I think it might just blend in! I read somewhere which Vidak mentioned that it'll turn white in long run?

Not sure; depends on the quality of the wrap, and material. Silent Hunter's is still metallic grey despite battling aliens in Malaysia. Mine did turn whiter quite fast which looks good in photographs. Dark/black wrap would look better, if it eventually turns colour.

 

Best to wrap header only, as you don't want the exhaust to cool down there. Whole pipe wrapped I think is overkill. Wrap serves double duty as ballistic protection against stuff that would hit the header and eventually corrode it (like mine).
