Cognitive Dissonance ...today learn this term...this explains why some facts are never accepted..

Psychologists know that when people are confronted by information that goes against their pre-existing ideas, the result is cognitive dissonance, a sort of "static" in the thinking process. It doesn't matter how smart a person is ... cognitive dissonance occurs in highly intelligent people !!

 

When someone receives information that is opposite to what they think, cognitive dissonance can discredit that information, so that the person won't seriously consider it. In fact, if a new idea drastically opposes one's previously held ideas, the threatening info won't enter their consciousness at all !!! The idea becomes simply 'unthinkable' that it could possibly be true, even with things that are totally obvious to an outside "impartial" observer.

bike area i believe can squeeze 20 bikes or more if park nicely

 

can one la the carpark there is so huge... just that maybe we can cordone off the cute little parking area for ourselves... :cheeky:

 

ohhh... I can smell the beef noodles... ha... but for now I would have to continue my survival on instant noodles... :sweat:

thumper or twin power deliver is more instant at low revs while inline4 needs to rev high rpms.. but ofcuz you know it..

 

ok, this saturday morning.. rain or shine .. will sms you to confirm.

 

 

 

 

TM got different terrains, i can speed up to 80kmh on some stretch yet some part have to push the bike out of the sand pit..

 

wao 80kmh i dont even dare to do that speed on my XR4 in any part of TM . hate the sand but love the mud pool. :D

that's on long open highway stretch.. i love it when suspensions are in play and bike remains horizontal over bumps and pot holes..

 

i dont mind sand or mudd on straights but S curves, up hill, down hill plus mudd and sand... means TDM falling left right on every turn :sweat:
