Topic : Rack for new Wave S model

Description : Nil

********************************************************************

Hi guys!

Just got my wave s two weeks ago. Need help in finding a suitable givi rack to mount a helmet box.

Been to LAB REgina and CHiap Lee already and can't help. Anyone just bought their wave s recently and installed a box successfully?

The problems lies with the screws for the pillion handle bar (the silver color one above the back light). All four screws are below the seat! :slapforehead: Ah boy says the previous models all four screws at side.

Quite a problem looking for the rack(maybe have to import from thailand??)...any waveriders (or cubs) who have any info would be appreciated. thanks ...

Erm .. fairing is the front part of the bike?? If yes, then yep... got two signal lights at the front and the head lights got two bulbs .. looks a little like innova ...

Anyway, now running-in the bike eh ... like no "power" one .. ard 300km already .... been tryin not to drag ... so go 3rd lane and 60-70km/h only .... :cheeky: So you see any wave on the most left lane going at that speed it's me lah. Is it normal that no "power"?

Thinkin changing to good engine oil at 800km ... any recommendations for wave? I read for other 4T bikes use Motul FUCH and Royal purple but no wave riders recommend specific EO. Read somewhere try to get EO ending with "50" becoz aircooled engine also. Looking for a cheap reliable shop in the west to change ...

Anyway still on the lookout for that rack ...:sian: most prob will get a E33point if manage to find ..

Dear Multiexposure

Just checked my Honda Wave-125S and found that the screws for my GIVI rack is by the side. There are not under the seat. I'm sure that you can get this done at the shops along Serangoon Road.

Perhaps, you may want to try a shop specialising in such racks along Serangoon Road opposite of Lee's Motor.

Hope this helps !

Regards

Chris

You buy the cheap cheap rack($20-$30) must take out the pillion hand grip, if u buy the more expensive give wing rack($50+-) u dont have to take out the pillion hand grip.

Sorry just looked at your post again and realised im posting based on the older waves. I thought only wave110 then like that.

My nick is corner not b'cos i'm good at Cornering but b'cos i like to ride at one corner of the road...

Your name of Yibin has many sterling qualities but does not give you an overall stability. You do everything with an intensity to the point of fervour, and either you feel tremendous elation or you are in the depths of despair. People often disappoint you because you are idealistic and are apt to place those whom you admire on a pedestal. Then you become disillusioned when they fall short of your expectations. You are quick mentally and like to see things moving at an accelerated pace. Patience is not one of your virtues; you want to move when the impulse strikes you. While such spontaneity is fine at times, you must take account of conditions and employ careful analysis so as to avoid disastrous results such as accidents due to hasty actions. Most things you do, you do well, but as soon as the task, hobby, or job becomes familiar or routine, you are bored and crave a change.
