to me, u dun need as good as EBC.. get stainless steel braided hose.. and a normal brake pad will be gud enuf..

a hose will cost u abt 30 at the sticker shop beside 219...

get tat and a cheap brake pad will sstill werk..

tats my view on it larh

by the way EBC should be considered as one of the better brake pads around right? you know how much they charge roughly?

dude, EBC Brakes someone selling in other forums...

20 bucks....

however, i'm not that sure if changing brake pads require bleeding of calipers.. haha...

anyone?

i need 'soft' brake pads. coz i v seldom use my brakes. i have been riding for more than a yr one my bike with 25K mileage and my stock brake pad is still thick. just that they hardened. that makes even slight braking will cause my handle bar to vibrate like as if they are breaking apart.

i am no fierce rider. i always slow down and rolled my bike to a stop. so i dun need a good braking system.

i think u all got mi wrong.

i am still using my stock caliper, my stock brake hose, and stock disc brake. all i wan is use EBC BRAKE PADs. the reason i dun wan to use my stock BRAKE PADs is because they are too hard and take v long to break in.

anything wrong with that? and no. changing brake pad no need bleeding of caliper i think. after all, also not changing brake hose.

i oso using EBC sintered

veli gud meh

damn fade resistant, brake all the way downhill oso still makan

But personally, EBC sintered fit on cub, nid to warm up the brakes a bit before it bites.

Cold morning, just out on road, not so makan yet

they say eat ur disc oso quite true, but more like texturize the disc surface. using EBC, the disc surface texture becomes very rough.

oso the stock pads, TOTALLY SUCKS

so easy overheat and totally fade

dangerous, man

sure got for cubs lar

oni dun make for spark 135 :cheeky:

soution is, change the whole front brake system

for me the main problem is overheating and brake fade, the stock pads are fine, so so in braking power wise, but it cannot tolerate the high temperature and constant hard braking. Total fade of the front brake was a scary moment i had using the stock brakes.

Thank god for rear brakes, otherwise i wud have golek golek down the hill .
