Off topic abit :cheeky: The above mentioned merc that you saw could be the CLK-DTM AMG, a 582bhp limited edition monster. The CLK-GTR is even more exclusive but i dun think its street legal here.

Regarding japs cars i think the era of the NSX,GTO,Supra, RX-7,Skyline gone liao. Now its the world of EVO/REX. Those are dreams, in reality a EG Vti or a DC2 integra is gd enough for me liao.

so many plp like R34, but actually it only fast on strait rd, coz it's a 4wd turbo. i saw e Best Motoring video from Japan after Z350 r out, it compared e two cars, e Z350 handles much better in cornering. juz to share. :cheeky:

But the R34 drifts better

Nah....drift is still left best to rear wheel drive cars like the 350Z and the S15s.

Out of the few mentioned....I have the chance to own and also drive some of these jap cars.

I have a Spec C and an Evo 8 GSR now. 5 years ago, had one of the 1st batches of Celica and S15. Was never a VTEC fan unfortunately so Hondas were never in the garage. When I was studying, worked and scrimped in Oz and had a chance to own a hybrid Mazda 929 Coupe 20B. Guess I was just lucky.

I think if i have to pick a Japanese dream car , it would be the Honda NSX.

wow, it cost more than 300k here when it 1st came.. the nsx is still very popular in japan especially for the motor journalist, they like to use this car to pit against the ferrari and the porsche..
