motorworld told me although carbon fibre nice its veri difficult to maintain after sometime the end can wont look as nice as u bought got something to do with the decolouration.furthermore although carbon fibre a veri strong material,if u drop ur bike fall on the end can, there maybe a minor crack when this happens when its hot, there is a risk of the end can of exploding....dunno true or not this the person at motorworld tell me

decolouration:confused: endcan explode :cheeky: joker sia they all. wat sales tatic.:cheeky:

guess they want you to purposely get the Carbon material Endcan and prove to them that it won't explode. Thats the sale tatic. :cheeky: So LTA cannot approve Loud Exhaust Pipes but if the Exhaust pipe explode they are fine with it?

For the headers, is it Stainless Steel or what? Its not going to melt right.

Just being humourous. No offense to other bor out there. :sorry:

use newspaper wif the autosol to polish then use a clean soft cloth to make it shine or use newspaper oso can give the same result.

BUT, if u r using a titanium sleeve then u must be prepared to lose the original colour because once u use autosol to polish, it becomes shiny & looks like stainless steel but still abit dark colour compared to SS. another alternative is use metal polish wax, it will bring out the titanium looks... :lovestruck:

u will only c ur face if u use autosol... those polish wax is to make it look outstanding but not as shiny as using autosol... i used b4 armorall metal polish wax, not bad... The colours turns out to be quite nice... too bad i hand itchy use autosol then become too shiny. :giddy:

not really faded off... its more like scraped the top surface of the titanium & made it looked shiny... Metallic wax can be found in hardware store & petrol kiosk, search around & u will c quite a few brands. It will make ur pipe shiny wif metallic looks.

Somehow i agreed.I got a friend that dyno his bike before and after installing of an end can.His bike manage to get 43HP rear wheel and an increase of just 1.3 HP after end can,K&N and a jet kit.

Jet kit is just da jet needle ? Saw da pic as shown . Wad about kenso jet ? Also jet needle ?

Can use WD-40 and a piece of tissue to maintain the exhaust or clean it..As recommended by my Akrapovic Owners Manual..

And yes, what motoworld says about the discolouration of the carbon fibre pipe is true..The carbon fibre appearance will look somehow like chao tar brown colour if u constantly whack it..Seen it on a k3 which was doing a dyno at Unity last year..

just wanted to confirm this whether it is true or not...

my bike shop n one of my friend said that yoshi pipe is only considered legal if u buy it 1st hand. n upon installing, the pipe will be registered under the bike. of course this process is all done by the shop.

he also highlighted to me dat after installing the yoshi pipe, n if u consider selling off ur bike, u will have to sell the yoshi pipe together. if u decided to sell the yoshi pipe to others, it is considered illegal as it is not registered to the buyers' bike.

so i am wondering dat some of u wanted to buy 2nd hand end can or the full system. is it consider illegal or legal? or after installing to the new bike, u have to register it again, then its consider legal.

Ya u r correct. I asked motor world in order to transfer the pipe need document and inspection fees of $50 and $15.XX respectively.

So if a yoshi cost $550 included those I would say is a good buy, rather than buying $350 2nd hands. And plus those inspection cost about $400+. Might as well buy new ones. No scratch and no carbon....
