I've got one installed on my bike. Din get it from MW or HKL. Imported it myself and still got a better deal(inclusive of shipping).

Just curious, the front and rear signals are linked. Shouldn't they light up together when you activate them(regardless of alarm or activating using the signal switch)? Sounds like a wiring problem to me..... The headlight was probably tapped for the alarm to sound when the ignition is turned on. Then again, if it lights up when you activate/deactivate the alarm then its probably connected wrongly. The scorpio alarm wiring is pretty straightforward actually....

there should be 2 wires which u have to tap to ur left & right signals..

did u see how it was tapped?

through the connectors or was any wire stripped?

some ppl prefer to tap to the rear light

as the rear light is LED and consumes lesser of the batt..

when one does this, he only makes use of 1 wire..

i suggest u open it up and take a look..

make sure everything is secured and there's no stripped wire hanging anywhere..

dun worry, wiring for an alarm is very simple..

it should come wit a manual anyway right..

since motoworld cant rectify yur problem then mayb our bro kambing juz might..hehe..

To buy accessories and oils/fluids from there is fine. But electronics(errr).

Just like the Hodako iridium Spark plugs that has a fragile ceramic

insulator sheath. There is forum page on that somewhere in SBF.

It is unlikely that they will.. The flaw with most big companies. But that's life, eh? I ordered Hyperpro springs from them. Told me one month. Waited 10 weeks. Finally got it but I had to call them like many times. Din want their mechs to touch my bike either. So went to Bikelab for install and full fork service. Had to pay more, but at least I know my baby is treated with tlc.

i have had no problems with their service quality. i as there today. james seems like a nice guy and the mechanic, wee, did his job well. i ordered something wrongly and the product didnt fit, they took a lot of trouble and incurred some expense helping me to fit it but did not charge me for installation or any extras. what was supposed to be 10 minute job became a 2 hour job.

Good for you, bro. Just to clear the air, I never said their service sucks. I only know that ordering stuff from them takes really long, and that there are much better skilled mechanics than the ones working at Motoworld.

hmm.. i dun like that first time I went to their shop near SLS.. give me the face like I got no $$ to buy their things..

but seems like dun have that issue after I visiting the Kaki Bukit Industrial Park. The mechanic even told me my air box not fixed properly and helped me to tighten it.. (my bike last serviced in Loois by previous owner, dunno how come airbox is loose.. )

I think everywhere got good guys and bad guys.. bikeshop also got good 1 and bad 1..

I will still go down the shop since the price is transparent.. and there are simply too few GOOD bikeshops around..

Off Topic Alert

The staff there seem to be a little unfriendly to me, but it doesn't bother me so much now. I just treat it like a minimal service retail store; I know what I want to get before hand, go there, grab the stuff, and pay. Minimal interaction.

I ask them only for vital information like price, availability, and compatibility of parts and accessories. I don't expect them to entertain me by asking me about my riding style, preferences, budget and so forth and then recommend me a product. It's just not what they do, so no point vexing yourself by expecting this kind of service from them.

I think bikers should be independent enough to do their own research and make up their own minds.

I received personal attention when shopping for a back protector at a certain other boutique gear store that carries upmarket brands, but the salesperson couldn't even be bothered to use a size chart to get me an appropriately sized one. Ended up paying for an undersized back protector. So much for expert opinion. Learned my lesson well from this.

Agree that Fauzi is very service oriented.

fauzi and choy. they're the best. i always drop by there when i'm free to have a nice chat with them. sometimes lasting an hour plus.

but as for the mechanics, can't even install my Ermax windshield properly. i went back home and got it fixed myself. but nothing can beat when i bought the carbon fiber belly pan from them. the mechanic turned to me and said "how to fix ah?" :faint:
