The Strada I looked at was brand new at Mah, I'm told that there's an earlier one with the same Rotex engine shared by F650Gs.

hmmm...Mah is selling the strada at 15.5k? That's rather cheap i think considering the price list i got from PML abt 2 mths ago which is ard 23k for the F650GS...not a bad deal if you really like this bike

Yup, the only Aprilia Pegaso 650 prior to the launch of the latest Strada version that made it to Sg is using the Rotax 5-valve bullet proof engine(BM650 on 4 valve Rotax)...though there were two models in between. The torque of this thumper is pure bliss in the twisties and I prefer the Pegaso to the GS650 after having ridden both these DP bikes. Tank range is 270km from the 15litre tank, dry weight is bout 160+ kg which makes it more controllable off road as compared to the litre DP machines. The sample in pic below runs on Metzeler M1 tyres and goes pretty well @ 140km/h though it can take a occasional sprint up to 175km/h.

...BTW will be letting her go @ $3.7k...COE till July 2015

Anyone??

Oh, I saw that too, the rider turned into Orchard Tower to look for Filipina?

So coincidence, you were at Orhard Road? Actually, I didn't notice it at 1st, Male Slut spotted it and pointed it to me.

Was surfing the Net, came across a pic of a Singapore Dakar 650 "AY33L" .. white. really sweet bike, and can tell that the owner took care of her.

Saw Long Way Round, without taking anything from the LWR effort, i thought that Michael Fong was more intrepid than the blokes in LWR. I mean, he did it without support and all, and 2-up.

Cheers
