But to take a road bike to track...there's some little things you may need to sacrifice versus being on a sportbike.

Heya guys, sorry I have been neglecting this forum as of late. Work, 2 month long reservist, etc. Also, I've been down to track a couple of times until tyres became chuey* already.

 

Anyways, lately one fellow RVF rider has looked me up because he initially had the aspiration to go track riding since he started taking up his 2B lessons. Now being on a 2A bike for a month, he had a taste of what track riding is like when I brought him to PG last week -- and like all newbies, the adrenaline has got him hooked and wanting for more.

 

Now I'm waiting for him to get his bike/tyres done plus to convert his gear from an armoured touring jacket to a fully-fledged 1 piece suit. And maybe I'll get him to tag along with our group once he's ready to go. But again, he (and me) will probably be MIA for 1 month to settle some bike/personal stuff.

 

Anyways, ride safe, push up to your limits -- there are limits when doing track riding, so observe and watch out!! -- and hope to see all of you guys someday!

 

P.S.: guys make sure you invite that XJR dude too...he lurking somewhere but nowhere to be seen!!
