i hv a Givi Wingrack, and i thot i dun wanna b wasteful, so thinking of reusing it on the CBF.

I suppose i shld give a thot to using a customised one frm Sengkwang but dat wld b 300sgd more.

K, i hope to meet up w u guys tonite.

can i hv yr hp no? mine is 81110377.

or if u can drop me an sms, dat wld b gd.

Thanks a million!

Safe riding to all.

:)

if you already have, then might as well use. Trying to resell it or collecting dust would be wasteful. I believe some modifications need to be done.

My rack was customised to be mounted more to the rear of the bike. This to allow the pillion to get on and off the bike more easily, senior citizen friendly, cos i send my mum to work every morning. If you do the regular way of mounting, it will look more compact.

thanks for the compliment, too bad it was pouring cats and dogs, if not i could have shown you the mounting from under the seat, was quite satisfied with the overall job, very firm, decided to invest in a proper rack as i intend to hang on to the bike for a while and also am carrying my notebook to and fro work .

a little confused, changed brake hose but you said that the stock tyres are good, kinda of not related right.

Steel braided brake hose with stock IRC tyres on a wet road, is a combination for a skid, brake gradually, you might just lock the front wheel.

it is on 2 subjects, stock brake and stock tyres. These are essential for the safety features of a bike. i recommended changing the stock brake into steel braided brake hose but for stock tyres, it seems to be safe on dry roads. I have yet to test it on wet roads which i will update you guys on it soon.

Hv yet to read d manual on the CBF, but i prefer to go for heavier rather than thinner oil. 10W40. my 2 cents worth.

CBF150 is air cooled engines is it? If it is air cooled, usually THICK oils are RECOMMENDED for maximum engine protection. Can go for Bel-Ray Thumper series 4T or AGIP Racing 20W50 fully Synthetic 4T or AMSOIL 20W50 4T.

Yeap i AGREE with you that STOCK tyres they give are crap tyres. I immediately change my tyres to Bridgestone BT39SS when i first take the bike out from the shop. Even without riding it i know already that the stock tyres are crap thru my past experiences.

Better to be safe than sorry. I would be more happier to spend my money on GOOD safe tyres than buying medicines to treat my wound on crap tyres after you fall down. By then too late already.

How's your FZ150, top speed, gear ratio and overall performance. Bike looks good. but the quality of the finishing looks a little low. Looks like a fast bike, is it?

Hello brother, NEW bike leh? How to know top speed. Still running in la. Anyway i am happy with my selected bike. Some more high technology LIQUID COOLED engine? From full tank to 1/4 tank takes abt 8 days. I simply love it. Very smooth... Love Yahama. The design also i love it. Simply like my old Rxz days... Only that it is 4 stroke no need 2T.

I guess so, the engine built and design looks like a performer. Doesn't seem to have caught on with SG riders here, seen very few on the road.

Maybe like you mentioned, it might be set to take over the place of the aging but legendary RXZs.
