yeah hope is a false alarm. not the throttle peoblem. maybe i accidentally hit the switch. btw if the there is an error the meter will always show it or there is a way to check if im not wrong

It should show at the speedo but at times when you turn key off and on again , the error might just disappear

"The ECU is equipped with a self-diagnostic function in order to ensure that the fuel injection system is

operating normally. If this function detects a malfunction in the system, it immediately operates the engine

under substitute characteristics and illuminates the engine trouble warning light to alert the rider

that a malfunction has occurred in the system. Once a malfunction has been detected, a fault code is

stored in the memory of the ECU."

 

Prevously I've encounter error code 24. It was resolve by resetting the error code with the guide from workshop manual.

 

Those interested to get the work shop manual for R6 2006 or 2007 or 2008 can PM me. But the file is rather big (each approx 22mb). Therefore I suggest you bring your notebook to load from my HDD.

 

Alternatively, to only have the screen shots of the Error code for R6 2006 in JPEG (approx 1.8mb), I can transfer to you via MSN.
