hey guys.. im gettin e r6 this mth once i manage to sell my previous bike.. e tps prob is it evident in r6'08 models.. is there any precautions i cn take once i buy.. hope u guys cn enlighten me.. thnss

Ride till now then you notice huh?

1 side for headlight, 1 side for high beam.

 

lol.. i just got my bike on monday nia.... that nite i tot die lioa one side blow.. then next day go shop they told me is like that.. hahah

nothing much.... u will enjoy the beauty of the bike when u are collecting.. seriously its really nice in the design.... so far no regret..... sleek and stunning...

It's TPS problem. Nothing to do with tuning.

is there a regular action that u did that the bike will die? like clutch in, sudden throttle, high rpm, etc?

 

sort of . it happens at traffic light,when u clutch in and drop gear while braking to stop to 0km,it dies. when its HOT (92-102) u rev on neutral it stall too.

might be clutch plates problem... mine used to die when i clutch in and drop gear when im still moving... after diagnose that its clutch plates problem and changed then its ok... then again yours may be different...

So far, only 06/07 models are having that TPS problem.

Quite a number of people also keep telling me my headlight one side blow. :faint:

guys, im planning to buy an r6 within these 3 months.i know it sounds weird but i really would like to know whats the diffsbetween the 2006/07 model and the 2008 model? engine wise i know the diffs but the looks? u guys can say tt im blind but seriously im still confused.guys..help me coz afraid i kena cheat.

The front head fairings has a difference in headlights and pilot light. Side fairings also differs abit. Tail fairing differs abit too. Currently, some of the 06/07 riders has this Throttle Positioning Sensor problem which may cause your bike to stall halfway.

 

Mine 08 R6 will be on sale this coming Dec. Interested? :shades:

Clever Wolf Replica full race fairings

Hie, i have a prob with my bike. I usually reset my mileage after each refill(full tank), while i was riding the fuel indicator(amber light up) at mileage of 95km. it then switch off after 96.3km. Again at 150km it lights up. then off again at 152km.

Can anyone rectify whats the prob. coz i highly depands on light and the mileage before i pump my petrol. Dont want to came across an instance bike run dry of fuel.:pity:

Yes. Earlier batch of PC3 for 08 R6 has problems. I am using 06/07 PC3 without any glitch at all.

I was told that first few batches of PC3 USB for 08 R6 had erratic midrange rpm behaviour. Details I am not too sure.
