Actually all class 2 sportsbike value depreciates alot after years.. If you are thinking about resale values i suggest you buy Super4.

 

i do understand that fact. actually just sold my super4 and am scouting around for an r6. what i meant was the resale value between the 2 models, not sportbikes in general. cheers

thanks for your input bro. i actually share the same opinion with you. 2010 model sounds alot quieter as compared to the 08 model. what if i change exhaust, will it still sound quiet as compared to an 08 model with an aftermarket exhaust?

actually i want to get the 08, but whats stopping me is the resale value after a few years as compared to the 2010 model.

 

If u put a after market exhaust slip on. Not much of a sound diff wif silencer on. U will stil need to Decat. The resale value of a R6 08 can say is still very firm n gd. U dun wan to lose much put un Hugh down payment n lesser instalment mths. U will break even faster.

actually based on wat u are toking abt the resale value... As the first owner of a brand new bike... u will lose more money den the second owner and 3rd owner.. blah blah... first owner loses the most... genarally the bike will depreciate abt 20% the moment u buy the brand new bike and start the engine.... Just my thoughts. Subcequent yrs the depreciation will be lesser...

Guys, got a 2 piece race fairing (R6 06/07) for sale @ $350. (as shown in the signature)

 

Fairing IS NOT able to fit onto the bike fitted with stock exhaust system. ONLY FIT with race exhaust full system.

 

no windshield and but comes with a windshield headlight.
