To ppl who commented abt fullsystm: yes....wat u said, done & according to ur own personal knowledge, everytin is true and i do too feel the pinch abt it. Bt like i said jz nw, u really need to do ur own research.

 

Yes....bike shops or authorised agents will say fullstm confirmed approved, wanna noe y??? Cos they jz wanna sell for thier own profits and wanted to clear previous stocks they had. Wat i meant was, read & see troughly abt their xhaust thru thier brouchers/catalogs/websites. Read the fine lines. Sure they'll xplain evertin abt thier products. U cant jz base on salespersons knowledge.

 

Likewise for myself, i bought arrow endcan, they recomended me the fullsytm slip-on rather den the endcan itself tat meant for original header. Luckily both are approved. U cant jz rely on STA/Vicom/SIC personels, they jz go by the papers/documnts we send in for inspection. Only LTA officers noes abt full modification specs. TP nt tat pro. (i meant to harm for these ppl)

 

If u guys go and read every single details on the paper u gt when buyin the xhaust, u'll b surprise. Hope i cld clear some of ur doubts abt tis topic.

I'm getting this slight problem when i try to do a hard acceleration, my bike bogs (hesitates) a little, then the response becomes smooth. This usually happens when i do hard acceleration and not the controlled acceleration like normal riding.

 

Anyone know if this is directly related to my fuel mapping?

 

I've got an 08 R6, leo vince slip on and no fuel mapping system(i.e. Power commander).

Try low speed slowly accelerate, if it bogs means you kena the famous Yamaha plug coil (ignition coil) problem.

 

Low speed acceleration does not bog, but if i do low speed followed by open throttle, then the bike will bog a little.

 

Hmm, my mech told me if its an ignition coil problem the bike will have unstable idling, and sputtering during acceleration - its like an obvious symptom. But my bike is still smooth, stable idling 800 - 1100 rpm, no choking sensation. And the power is still there.

 

am i required to go for dyno, to find out if i'm running too rich?

 

I think i'll get it check out.

hello, i'm new here. i just bought 2011 R6 and install LEOV full system... but from wat i know about exhaust from 08 model onward akra not approve and from 2011 onward LTA dun approve any full systems for R6 only left a few set in Singapore which is approve....

Maybe a price range will help boost your sale. If only i hadn't bought my LV slip ons, kinda rare to seek a reconditioned akra pipe for r6.
