I may acquire an old K more than 10yrs bike, left 9 more years to go on the COE.

 

Need to know what is the

~Road tax per year ( for a more than 10yrs old bike),

~average insurance premium for age 36yrs old.

~Any spare issue since K is an old king of the road 10s of years back before the Z. My 1st bike was RXS aka RX-115 (FE1225), that was abt 14 years back (wow..so long ago liao...me getting older). Those time spares still not an issue, Ah Boy sure have the spare..

 

Now time has changed, road is dominated by newer gen of street bikes like Cubs & RXZs... YBR, FZ150 etc.. Old K is getting rare..

you can get from any old bike shop.rxz spoke rim is same as k.you want cheaper go lor bapok

Gd afternoon fellow riders.just wanna check on the number of u interested in getting the pineapple head.I was asking my mech on the possibility of getting hold of one.currently,my bike still in workshop for some major works.initially wanted to just do minor repairs but have opted for a major work done instead.and amazingly,my mech managed to get me a pineapple block head.so if many of u guys interested,maybe,just maybe I can ask him to help.

Pls make sure u r free n cancel other comittment or OTs or any other **** for tat particular day. So i suggest, we meet at nite during 1 of the wkdays at Seletar Dam or Kallang KFC, no wkend cos u need to spend time for other things. So post yr choice of a date, day n time. Even if u end work at 10pm also i wait for u. We will finalise on the 1st January 2010.

 

As for me, meet-up any time......

ya bear. tell it to them. esp. for the new rxk-akis, dont be shy to meet up - just as u r not shy to intro urself in this forum and ask questions/seek info. i m a newbie to the group too but i thickened my skin...and the payoff? i got excellent advice and lobangs from the lau chiaus. i am sure u'd enjoy the same benefits too - at no charge! haha...

I will wait for the rest to suggest the time n day they will be free. What i suggest is tat we shd have a monthly Kopi-session n a monthly Meet-up. Kopi on wkdays n Meets on wkend or vice-versa. I suggest this bcos i wanted to widen my network of friends who share my hobby.

 

Anyways, this is the Captain america theme, just yet to paste a huge White Star. Btw, this is my bro Honda CG tat i 'project' last week.
