hi guys!i'm getting a k very soon.may by dis wk it should b in my hands.1st things i'd like to change is de rear mudguard(de longer vintage type).is chia heng de place to get it?...ard how much would it cost?n how much would a basic servicing cost?(change EO,plug n wash carb).n mayb wanna rewrap de seat also.any advice?...

to srvice the bik eg, wash carb, change EO and spark plug will cost u bout $25. yes i think u should be able to get the long mudguard from Chia Heng. a couple shops down from Chia Heng, u can find Eugene's. they do the re-wrapping of seats. good luck!

if they dont have the chain guard, try Lim Ah Boy (LAB). they might have it.

i badly need rx manual.. who has one?.. i want to adjust idling rpm.. neutral ok.. but when 1st gear.. engine become softer.. then die.

picooz on the left side of the carb there is something that loks like a screw. its quite big. when e engine is running and ur on neutral, turn the screw anti-clockwise(i think). the engie should idle faster. that might solve the problem. if it gets worse, turn the screw the other way around then.

Just play around only, wont go wrong. At the most wrong already then go bike shop. Just so you'll know more about your own bike yeah..

ever since i bought a k...dis thread seems to b super quiet.wat happen to everybody?...

anyway...went to change my brake pump jus now.it was leaking at de hole there n brake nvr "makan" at all.so went to de hamilton shop.uncle changed for me a china made brake pump.cost $40.is it reasonable?he said a yamaha one will cost much more.

anyway guys...another noob question...de internal of my bike eg. de wirings,de 2t container area, under de seat,...all very messy n old.is there any way i can make it neater n nicer?can DIY or better to ask shop to do?cos i scared if i touch de wirings or anything skali something came loose den more 'leceh'.if outside nice but inside messy also not nice ar...anybody can advise?

n wash e dirt n grimes near e 2t tank with petrol n brush.

n ur good to go.

anyway...talking abt washing wif petrol...can i use kerosene to wash of de dirt n grime at de engine area?cos of some leaking(which i was told is normal...so is it?) de bottom of de engine there is very dirty n oily.i tot of using kerosene to brush it off.

u can either buy a bottle of high concentration grease eating bottle of spray liquid or use good old fashioned mama lemon mixed with water.. put it into a spray bottle and there u go...

 

petrol is smelly and quite messy..

 

use the mama lemon and leave it there for 5 mins.. den wash off with water..

scrub with more mama lemon for more stubborn stains.. den wash off.. it should shine like a baby..

ya. i'm suppose to get it this month. but the owner wants to changeover next mnth. guess have to wait. but it looks more like an apek bike. so have alot of things i have to change. maybe when i get my bike already u can accompany me go chia heng...

hi bros.i jus got ma RXS recently and i had to change ma carb as it was faulty.got it for 30 bucks from a bike shop in Paya Lebar.is it cheap?so far,its ok.no probs.if dere's any meet-ups,can i join ya guys?im a newbie here!hope sum1 can help me!many thanks..!
