Yup,i think shoei got lot of designs to choose if im not wrong,with shoei X-11 & together with the white 848,i think it should attract people to view once you stop at traffic light.....

ducati 848, what do u think of the maintence for this bike? would it be around the same as jap superbike cost? like R6/R1, CBR 1000/600, GSXR 1000/750/600.

Hi oakenfoldsg,for the maintence,it should be abit higher than those R1/R6 cause of the brand.

only left the red unit cannot be, 848 only have 2 colour to chose from. Red n White, not like 1098 think got 3 colour to chose from black, red n yellow version.

 

if they limit the colour would be a waste, coz white is a unique colour for ducati superbike series.

 

and most ppl would buy 848 coz of its white colour for 848. pearl white

i dont think so ..... ducati owners do have slider for their bike and yes if a slider is installed.... a hole is needed to be drill ...... it will destroy the look

actually u can book the bike now cause the Euro price might shoot up to 10% more next year.Booking fee is $1K & i have already confirm with mary going down to her place to make the payment in mid dec or late dec.

ducati 848, in the current currency market, Euro, GBP n USD will not likely to go up so fast until 4th Quater of next year, due to the US loan market is weaking and will be hard to bounce back so quickly n they still have other factor like the election for the TOP JOB in their country US PRESIDENT. so there's still time from the view of the current exchange rate is 1000SGD = 467.1808 EURO, which is nearly half of it.

 

so can i ask if let say i put deposit of $1K, wats the rest of the thing like i've to pay there after.

hmm. saw alot of G1, G6, R1, R6, ZX10, ZX6, CBR etc CORNERING with SLIDERS.

Minerva does not provide loan, they will help you get it through Hitachi Credit.

 

The 848 is listed at 32K machine price, OTR after adding everything will be >35k, assuming you will change your pipes like every other duke owners.

 

Ducati's servicing like for like IS NOT more expensive than other litre bikes.

 

There are sliders for dukes which are under carriage which means no drilling of holes. Google it up.

 

My suggestion for people who want to do high loan and long tenure is don't. The general feel in the Singapore market is that duke's superbike will almost half its value in 3 years, which means you cannot sell your bike as you will have high outstanding loan. Mary will tell you that most owners expects a big hit from new.

 

Most owners I know either pay full cash or take a 30% 1 year loan. Only those i know lah, the others I not sure.

Coz i intend to pay 30% - 40% downpayment than loan for like 1-2 years.

Since like wat u suggest like 32K otr without changing exhaust, sounds good to me, if changing an exhaust still have to pay interest better don't change, not worth it.
