Lolz!!! I just been to Ice Skating yesterday! So shiok! I had stopped skating at Jurong sinces 1997. Just been there to rekindle my childhood and relearning what I had lost over the years. Its seem that the balancing is still in me and so happy. Starting is very scary but after an hr, i can skate pretty fast.

 

Oh boy, I miss my hockey skate man!!! My hockey skate was thrown away in 2000. It was a Reebok Pump hockey skate cost me $260++. Oh boy, anyway, it was a lovely feeling being able to skate again.

 

But due to my previous operation on my ankle, i cant stay on ice for long and need to rest my left ankle often.

hi guys.. i newbie @ ice skating.. wish to learn those skill tat those ice hockey ppl skate.. so fast n poweful.. haha.. wonder hw much does it cost for the own skate.. and hw long to master..

Just pay $12++ to go for 2 hrs and try out the rented skate. Forget about buying a skate for yourself. You can go for skating lesson at $150++ for duno how many lessons. They will teach you figure skating. You want pro hockey style, learn on your own then join the hockey team.

haha.. i think i noe how to skate.. but i duno how to like speed and like turn fast.. n i always get blister after skating using those rented one.. i dun like to play hockey.. but i really want to learn speed skating hee..

Event Held Annually for gathering of Old/New Skaters.

Date: 16th September 2006

 

Time: 1400 or 1500, Meeting place would be outside the rink

 

Those who are coming for lunch before going in, would meet at 1400 whereas those who are not, 1500. Lunch would decide on that day. Most probably at Blk 132.

 

Those coming at 1400 & 1500, please try your best not to be late please. Let's make it a wonderful day.

 

Hopefully to rink would be crowded on that day itself....like it used to be, crowded with friends...

 

PS: Those who are working, try to take leave. I'll be trying to take too... scare kenna duty only... those who are not working, i've already given more than a month's notice, please try to make it... As for Grouping, best to find your own people first. If really cant find, then have to be like last time again i suppose. "eh.. you how many people? What time going out? We go in together let change tix with my friend?" lolx

 

If there are alot of people going, there will surely be groups of friends around here and there... surely there will be peeps who will tends to be anti-social and only wanna stick with their own friends etc... So please bear with it ya... Just go there to have fun... know more friends etc...
